"Charming independent restaurant with fantastic food. The portions are generous, offering great value for money. The only minor drawback was that we were seated by the door in the back room, which is where the staff and smokers go outside. I can imagine that if it were very cold, it would be quite uncomfortable. I believe it would be best if customers weren’t allowed to use this area for smoking."

The food was excellent, and the owners and staff were very friendly. We spent a week in Lowestoft and ended up dining there three times. The Sunday roast was hearty and delicious!

Very enjoyable evening, more importantly it was lovely to find somewhere that will take a dog, when family together it is often difficult to find a dog friendly restaurant. Next time just the main meal, maybe then we could enjoy a sweet.

Team attentive. Food lovely and plenty of it. Didn't need a starter and no room for a dessert. But was lovely. I said to someone at work I was going to go to the harvester and they mentioned here. So last minute I changed my mind and booked in here. Very pleased.

Delicious food, we couldn't fault it. We sampled things from the blue cheese fritters to the hog plate specials as well as the smoked lentil burger. Everything was cooked beautifully with tasty seasoning. They were extremely accommodating when I called to add an additional person to our booking. The service was prompt and friendly. We will definitely return!
