"Reading the RAVE reviews I was beyond excited to try this food and we had it delivered to our holiday accom expectations were high. The service was sensational, we got a few free dishes (but they did forget my onion Bhajis) but the foodabsolutely bland and tasteless. I asked for the mattar paneer to be madras hot and honestly it tasted more like bisto gravy. sad to say this, but if you are on holiday, wait until you get home. I love Indian food and I feel so sad to give a bad review but sorry this was really bad, not sure if this is due to the locals not liking spice, I can only give you benefit of the doubt and assume. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options but they are pretty bland."

amazing birthday meal in the abbey of tandoori! they all made themselves so strenuous, eating was delicious, creatiw presented and the staff was extremely attentive. beautiful atmosphere!

our first visit here tonight. absolutely amazing! eating was mouthwashing, personal are amazing and the owner made us really welcome and even added our evening with a few extras! we will definitely return and recommend. they will not be disappointed.

This place is just amazing. Professional staff, outstanding food and a wonderful place to spend an evening. Their menu has loads of special dishes that are different to your average Indian restaurant and there's upbeat music playing. Genuine smiles from the waiters. Thanks for a great time. what an amazing restaurant is it not only the food that shines here, but the personal they can not do enough to quickly recommend them friendly from the menu and answer all ask. from beginning to end, it was an amazing experience, the atmosphere is beautiful, the music had to beat us with it. will now be a regular on my list wish I had gone earlier

A night at The Lowestoft Tandoori was a sheer delight. The team that look after you are welcoming, friendly and totally on the ball. The food is not just good and tasty we found it exceptional. I love Indian beers and they have Kingfisher, Cobra and my favourite Bangla a lovely and smooth beer. Anyhoo can't wait for my next visit. For me money well spent

Have had takeaway from here before, but this is the first time dining in and it didn't disappoint. Busy little place but staff were very welcoming, friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Food arrived very quickly and was absolutely delicious!! The portions are more than generous and the staff bring you additional dishes for you at no extra cost! I definitely recommend Lowestoft Tandoori! Thankyou for great service, lovely food and a nice evening. Kate.x
