"We had a wonderful 3 course meal at the Cricketers Arms. We ate as part of a large group (4 adults and 3 children) and had great service throughout. Our favourite starters included the squid and chicken liver parfait, with the mains of steak and pork especially going down a treat. The cookie dough pudding was to die for – we just about had space to share one! The food was presented beautifully and there was something for everyone. The wine list has been expertly put together – we enjoyed a new world red and a lovely bottle of Sauvignon Blanc. The children’s menu is also great value for money. We hope to return at the next opportunity."

Absolutely fantastic Sunday roast! Every element on the plate was delicious. The beef was tender and tasty, Best gravy I’ve eaten in years. Staff were very friendly and a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Well worth it! View menu

Spent a few hours in the sunshine at this lovely pub. The service was really good and the food was equally delicious. There were 9 of us and everyone enjoyed their meals. The burgers were great and the cookie dough dessert was divine! Thanks for a lovely afternoon !

An enjoyable time was had at the pub restuarant. The atmosphere was good and so was the service.We were well looked after and my experience was better than anticipated. The pricing was fine but in particular the seabass portion was two very small thin pieces of fish. Parking was easy.

Great pub/restaurant. Took my neighbours to lunch as a thank you and it was just great. Beautifully decorated with a great ambiance. Beer (Timothy Taylor Landlord) was in first class condition and the food was lovely. Tasted as good as it looked. This establishment is a credit to the management and staff. Highly recommended. We visited one Sunday without a reservation. Thankfully staff were able to accommodate us after some drinks at the bar. We all had three courses including the Sunday roast. We all agreed it’s the best roast dinner we’ve ever eaten out at a restaurant. Plus great value for money. The staff were also lovely and welcoming. Simply a perfect visit.

We have just stayed for two nights attending a wedding nearby. The pub is a lovely place to stay. The staff are super friendly especially Andy and the bar manager whose name I forgot , and very accommodating. Our room was lovely although there was no shower, we managed with bath and handheld shower. The breakfast was lovely and I would highly recommend staying here.
