"The Cricketers used to be a regular Sunday lunch (and other days too) venue for us but then it went downhill and we stopped going great to see it 'on the up ' again! Friendly and warm welcome from the moment we arrived and then from every team member we interacted with, lovely food, good service it 's back on our list of good places. Bill was a bit more than we 'd expected when we set out but prices have gone up everywhere so it 's probably not out of sync with other places and we 'd had extra veg, gravy etc too! Thank you, we 'll see you again"

We went for the first time Christmas Day 22 and loved it returned august 23 loved it again will definitely go back sooner this time Thanks to all the staff

Perhaps just unlucky this time but our table of 4 was seated next to much larger parties with 8 children under the age of 5. The sound was deafening, main meal was good, wine very good.The crumble for dessert though was terrible, undercooked and very very sweet

Where should I start, Sunday lunch was OMG the best I have ever had, can't stop thinking about it. Stayed over night, we were off to see Tom Jones at Audley End, had problems getting a taxi, Dan and Lydia went over and above to get us to Tom he was amazing). Breakfast was superb, all staff were amazing, can't wait to return.
