"we are great cooks and never go in the rule for a roast, as there is always such a disappointment in comparison to homemade, but my goodness, that is an exception!...and not washing! we were very impressed. I had fryed, my partner had the fag. The...beef came with a triumphant of a yorkshire puddings and the pork with cracking. the brat potatoes were crispy and golden on the outside and fluffy in the middle, the carrot and wild boar was perfectly seasoned, roasted carrot and papasnip perfectly cooked and tasty caramelized. they get a generous amount of accompanying veg that is great for us. delicious shredded spring green, courgette and cauliflower and broccoli cheese. Once again, I must highlight the cauliflower and the broccoli cheese, as it was fabulously frescoy and was well spiced with this beautiful piece browned cheese on the top! you can say that the cook is cooked with passion and can be proud of it. the personal is fantastic. so welcoming, friendly and simple in general fun to be insubstantial. you feel the love. the only feedback that I could possibly give is that we like more salted cracks and pink bark, but that is personal preference, no criticism. we can't wait to go back!"

A Lovely meal. The best Mussels I have ever tasted. Jackie was a fantastic waitress. She had a good sense of humour and was able to banter with us. The place was clean and busy as well as homely and warm. If we are in...the area again we will definitely return. Thank you to all the staff involved.

This was a birthday treat and a surprise venue. We were staying for a week's holiday in Mevagissy. The lunch was excellent, good food, service and atmosphere. A lovely fire welcomed us as well as attentive staff. Nothing too much trouble. Menu covered all diets...and some of us appreciated smaller plates for roasts, even those were plenty.

we visited this pub tonight during the vacation in the opposite and must say we were so glad that we chose it. it is located in a very picturesque village, and the pub itself is beautiful, very cozy and with a good atmosphere. very friendly and efficient staff. we had a starter to share with a dipping sauce, very good, and then I had a hawn and chorizo pee with a crispy topping, and my wife chose the mushroom linguine. when the pub was busy with diners and drinkers, we didn't have to wait too long, and our meal times were sharp and very tasty, credit to the cook. beer was also good, so all at a good evening with eating and drinking, to very cheap trips. Thank you.

We stumbled across this pub and were very glad we did. The cheerful landlady and her whole team were attentive and polite. The inside of the pub has character and is Covid secure. There’s also a sheltered beer garden. The menu is not large but...has the usual pub classics. I chose Cornish sole off the specials board. It arrived pipping hot, having been perfectly cooked with just garlic butter...it was so fresh I reckon it was swimming off the coast that morning. The accompanying chips and veg were earthy, not the usual freezer rubbish. This place is a quality establishment. Quality food at reasonable prices and tip-top service. A young family on the next table to us had a child who had aller...

"So let us share our experience, We went in tonight as a family after seeing that it home made food on the drive to sennen and looked online and had a good look at the food available on the menu also looking to see if it was dog friendly and it ticked all the boxes, Upon arrival me and my wife went in 1st to ask if we could have a table for food and if dogs can go inside and staff were a little unsure but they confirmed we could upon asking for a table for 7 but one in a pram he said we don’t have the availability to cater I was looking at a table big enough and eventually said that this table was available whilst being seated we had 2 table one clean and the 2nd just been finished with so needed a clean but he came and cleaned both tables and he squirted the cleaner on a clean table and the over spray bounced off the table and went over our selfs then we were handed a menu freshly printed A4 paper thrown on the table (WET TABLE) so they stuck to the table upon agreeing what we wanted we went to the bar within 2-3 mins of being seated we knew what we wanted and when we asked for the meal it was OUT OF STOCK (Sunday lunch) ok fair so as I was with a family member at the bar I quickly rushed back to the table to ask my daughter of an alternative she wasn’t happy, So I made a meal up of all the extras on the menu so I went back to the bar to find my family member ordered 2 fish and chips then I realised my wife also wanted Sunday lunch so I quickly rushed back to ask her what she wanted and went back to the bar just as my family member left and asked for fish and chips was also sold out also! 99% of the menu was SOLD OUT this should of been discussed upon arrival not as we were ordering I run and operate my own business and this isn’t how I would treat my customers this isn’t how an establishment should be ran! Even when I was standing trying to order a member of staff was standing there arm against the wall doing nothing while customers are standing waiting to be served! So we decided not to eat and my family member went back to the bar to ask for a refund as we couldn’t eat as a family and the staff were iffy about offering a refund but 10 minutes later they did refund my family member as it became a scene for other people as they could see what had happened! This establishment should be call the 1st and late time you come here! We ended up walking to the chip shop down the road for food we are very disappointed in this company and establishment! For anyone who wants to eat please make sure they HAVE STOCK how can this establishment run without stock? Never again tonight they lost over £200 revenue due to this situation!"
