I went there last night to celebrate my birthday, and I highly recommend it! The atmosphere was lovely and welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly. The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and we couldn't have been happier. We will definitely be back! View menu

Atmosphere here is excellent, good decor and a real asset to the village. Funky place, good live music on the Friday we were there. Food wise, starters are creative and change regularly. Mains are a little on the small size, a Sunday roast needs a little more veg. But quality is good.

This was our second visit to the Crown Inn while we were in the area, and we will definitely come back. The service was excellent, the beers were tasty, and the food was outstanding. The smoked mackerel pâté was one of the best dishes I've ever had. Highly recommended, and it's also a fantastic spot for our four-legged friends.

I had lunch here tonight. the service was very good, location is beautiful, but the meal was not what I expected. I had steak as main menu, with roasted carrots, a pice of carrots, petersley, a bit of spinach, roasted cauliflower, yorkshire, 2 small pieces of something that don't look like sirloin steak, more like fat speck. on sourded a little overrated for the part. We had an amazing experience at the Crown Inn. Despite being a large group, the service was outstanding, the atmosphere was both relaxed and festive, and the food was delightful. We enjoyed the roasts as well as some vegetarian options. The drinks and cocktails were also excellent. Thank you for the warm welcome; we will definitely return. beautiful pub that has preserved its character and still feels like a pub. eating was nice, but the prices and some of the items offered are quite aspirational they can have a £15 salat up to a £80 t bone steak. the food was a solid 8/10. taste was delicious, but some dinges were somewhat over boiled or over fried. the lambskin was too much a little fat and completely yum, but the heaps were boiled too hard. the gravure on the heirsen and rump was really serious and I would have eaten it with a brot as a meal. My second visit was for dinner, and the food was outstanding. The appetizers, main courses, and desserts were all delicious, and we paired them with a variety of beers. On both occasions, we sat outside in the lovely covered area, which was great in the evening thanks to the heating. However, the only downside was the service. It felt inconsistent; on one visit, there seemed to be a lack of attention, while on the other, there was an overload of staff checking on us. In fact, within five minutes after sitting down, we had three different employees asking if we were ready to order, and then we were left waiting for about 15 minutes without anyone attending to us.
