"We were a diverse group of eight adults (including two individuals with medical conditions), two children, a baby, and a dog. We were accommodated in a lovely private room and from the moment we made the reservation until we departed, we were thoroughly impressed. The staff were friendly and courteous, providing excellent service. Despite being seated in a secluded area, they regularly checked on us to ensure we had everything we needed and the timing between courses was just right. We never felt rushed, but we also didn't have to wait too long. The pre-ordered food was outstanding, especially the black pudding scotch egg. Each one of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals, from the gluten-free fish and chips to the pork chop, pies, and mushroom arancini. We couldn't find any faults. Thank you for giving me the best birthday meal I've ever had. Although we stumbled upon your restaurant by chance after being let down by another establishment, we will definitely be returning and will gladly recommend you to others."

We had an excellent lunch with our family today. The weather was nice, so we sat at a table outside, facing the church. Two friendly ladies provided us with table service. We each chose different dishes for our three-course meal, all of which were delicious. My scotch egg starter had a freshly made, soft yolk. My main dish of whole plaice with hassle back potatoes was fresh and tasty, although there was perhaps too much "brown" butter on the plate for my liking.
