"it was necessary to eat something after check-in in our hotel. everything around the Excel headquarters was closed or really quiet at that time. However, we have seen some reviews on the custom house pub and thought we would try. at the arrival it was also quite quiet and a little tired look. However, the staff were friendly and efficient and eating was really good. we had the homemade cake and I must say it was one of the most beautiful I had. would recommend the court!"

Live nearby, was craving for ribs. The ribs was the way to dry, hardly to cut, chew and swallow I will probably stay away from ribs for some time.

Disappointing overpriced for what appeared to be overcooked, frozen food plus the 12.5% service charge (including on the beer! . Bar prices not too painful though and the staff were friendly

It was freezing cold. I had to send my rack of ribs back as so tough and couldn't even eat with a steak knife. When i complained and ordered something else they still charged me even though my friend was finished before i got mine. No offer of a discount or free drink or desert!

friendly little pub and our go to stop when at mcm comic con in london. the personal is always beautiful and helpful and there is a great atmosphere there, really enjoyed the last time that we were there as they were an acoustic night on. the bar is well equipped and toilets are always clean and workers are quick to react if required.

had a fantastic time here, the steaks were easy to die and the service was excellent. our waiter cailem could not have been more attentive, the bar staff were great, especially a barman named bradley, who could not have been more helpful. overall I and my wife had a nice time and will hope to return to the foreseeable future. Thank you, young, stop it!

Compliments to the chef, the food was delicious. However, the service left much to be desired. A manager had to tell staff to come serve as they were no where to be found on the bar, and when the food arrived we had to wait a good ten minutes before being able to eat as the cutlery was so hot it almost burnt mine and my partners hands when we picked them up.

Some of the worst food I've ever had. Shockingly bad. The food was probably reheated or frozen and lacked any flavour or texture. All the meats were dried out and lacked any taste. I would not recommend the pub as an eatery at all. They showed sports (rugby) on several televisions and a selection of drinks but next time I would stay well clear of the food as that was simply awful!

However we saw some reviews on The Custom House Pub and thought we’d give it a try. On arrival it was also pretty quiet and a little tired looking. However the staff were friendly and efficient and the food was really good. We had the homemade pie and I have to say it was one of the nicest I’ve had. Would highly recommend that dish!
