I revisited this charming old pub after 20 years and was pleased to find it just as fantastic as I remembered. The price per person is very reasonable, ranging from £1 to £10. The service was top-notch, receiving a 5 out of 5 rating, and the atmosphere was also rated a 5 out of 5.

Pork roast was awful, cold pork, tepid veg on a warm plate! First 'not so good meal ' we have ever had at dartmouth, did tell the bar staff, the young lady apologized, said she would let the chef know and offered 10% discount, on a 14 95 meal, how about 75% discount when you 've had 75% meal back! Expected more, disappointing!!!! View menu

I stopped by for a drink after a drive in the countryside. This charming, traditional English country pub is situated in a quaint hamlet. Although I didn't have time to eat, I chatted with someone who had just finished their meal and they spoke highly of it, so I'll have to try the food next time. The pub also has a great beer garden and a nearby kids park.

Honestly phenomenal food. Took us by surprise as we stumbled upon the place by accident on a random drive this evening. Highly recommended! I’m going back to try the surf and turf next week, the Cajun chicken burger and linguine we had today was so good. We even tried the mackerel pate, I’m not usually fan of fish but this was incredibly moreish. Took family for my 70th birthday. On the whole had a lovely time, one or two hiccups, but sorted out. Food cannot be faulted, very tasty and cooked beautifully.
