"would not have rated stars if I could. very disappointing meal today. After we have eaten in the restaurant for years, we decided to take a 2 hours round trip to lunch. we will not hurry to go back. the menu was very simple, there was no fish and chips available, which was surprising as it is a popular lunch dish and after the choice of another food option after an hour it had not arrived. we said there was a problem with the grill and if we were happy to wait, it would be eating with us soon." Unfortunately, we had no time because we had other obligations, but it would have been helpful to have known this during the order and given the choice to eat or wait elsewhere. the only positive is that the bar staff was very patient and appealing."

"Really good food. We always go here when we have a family get-together, as there are at 12 of us and always get food served hot and cooked right and so many places don't seem to be able to deliver a hot dish or correct dishes we order. The girls behind the bar are a great bunch and not afraid to have a bit of banter between staff and customers. Great place that delivers every time due to hard-working staff and great communication. Thank you to all the staff at the Hussey Arms. See you all soon"

"We are regulars here. A standout curry house, deserving of recognition. What sets Panshi apart is a) the quality of the food which is fresh and carefully prepared, even when they are busy and b) a genuine focus on customer service. They look after you. We came here recently on a Saturday night and it was absolutely heaving. Yet they had brought in enough staff, kept on top of things and made sure we had a good experience. This can’t have been easy. You could imagine a Netflix documentary on a place like this and how it churns out quality grub for the locals en masse."

"we had such a nice drink here on Mother's Day. very nice to see that the pub had a bit of a makeover since we left last and it looks fantastic. the drinks were good inexpensive and the service was ok, the young people who served on the bar looked all tired from a long day. outside is amazing for children, it has a play area with benches for families to sit and they have a massive field with tor posts with a football included in the delivery scope. this is a great location for families to eat and bring their children. great location to walk and the outside was kept clean and well presented at any time. music was a little loud out there, but it was okay when more people were squeaking around. very impressed by this little place!"

"What a fabulous venue to say our final farewell to our Mom, we had the most wonderful time celebrating moms life in the way she was remembered as Nanny Biscuit. Becky, Ashleigh and the staff were just wonderful in their understanding and they did us and our mom proud. The tables were set and our afternoon teas were just perfect for us to reflect mom. The sandwiches and cakes delicious with thought and attention, the coal fire was lit and we felt relaxed and all commented on what a wonderful send off. Nothing is too much for Becky and all, its a must to see, tucked away on the West Platform and takes you back to an era of time gone by. We cannot thank you enough and highly recommend a visit here and enjoy all there is to offer. Val Rose"
