Brilliant service as always, fab breakfast and drinks in the sunshine love the relaxed atmosphere!

Food was poor. Roast beef was like leather and the kids chicken was covered in pepper seasoning. Kids don’t eat pepper!!

Late Sunday afternoon and the lack of food was embarrassing. No fish. No chicken. No lamb. Only a few starters. They ran out of rose wine. I had steak. It did not come with any mushrooms or tomatoes and they wanted extra for the sauces. Terrible experience.

We did not want a heavy meal and we enjoyed our choices very much. The'dessert/cheese coffee smidgeon' is a very good offering. Thank you also for ringing me about the jacket I'd left I hadn't noticed the lapse and was happy to pick it up, I think it was Mandy who retrieved it so thanks to her too. See you soon.

Chaotic shambolic, from start to finish If you have a birthday dont bother telling them , they confirmed when. We arrived then did nothing , it was really embarrassing A Training is needed and that’s before we talk about the cold potatoe they scooped off the plate took to the microwave and brought back and dumped it in the plate The drink that arrived 20 mins apart no need to go on View menu

5 stars all the way, booked a table for Mothers day unfortunately I couldn't make it as I was working . But my wife children was looked after so well by all the staff, the food was amazing even our fussy 6 year old son cleared his plate! , staff lit a candle for my wife, wished her happy mothers day gave her a small bottle of gin! The only downside was the tip our 20 year old gave the staff i gave him a speaking to when they got back! Thank you so much to the staff at The Embankment you made my wife's day even more special, definitely will be back, hopefully with myself : I'll give you guys a proper tip next time

Lovely atmosphere and really friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money, too. Unfortunately I had to reorder my main and pud, as they had run out of both! I was limited in what I could eat due to an allergy. I went for the burger, minus the bun. Very tasty burger, would recommend. Lacked presentation however. My partner had the mushroom risotto, which he said was lovely. Again, presentation could have been better. Our waitress was really helpful when it came to the pud choice and adapted to suit our dietary needs, as our first choices had both run out. These were also given free of charge to apologise for the inconvenience. Had a lovely 'date night ' and will definitely return

We have been to The embankment before and had a great meal. So booked for our anniversary, in at 7.30 and already items not available on the menu. It was burger night so I thought I would have something different. The salt cod burger with kimchi and sriracha sauce. It arrived as a battered piece of cod not salted in the traditional sense no kimchi or sriracha sauce. When asked for kimchi some sliced cabbage with not a hint of ferment came out. It was a nice fish burger but not what I asked for. Staff tried to apologise but didn’t really have a response. The burger night had not long started.
