this is the place for a Sunday dinner, a choice of meat perfectly cooked, plenty of seasonal vegetables, gravy full taste.

The staff here are incredibly friendly, and the food is exceptional. They offer a fantastic variety of freshly tapped beers as well. Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 5 stars.

Wow, the pulled pork was incredible! My mother ordered the gammon steak and said it was great as well. I highly recommend this place! Although there was a bit of a wait for the food, it was absolutely worth it.

We love dining at The Fountain! The food is consistently excellent, and I highly recommend it. No matter what we've ordered—whether it's pizza, steak, fish and chips, or Sunday roast—it has always been wonderful.

Badly in need if redecoration, no way to access before 5pm to drop bags off, no food on Wednesdays, probably a blessing, dress cushions on the bed were dirty and smelly. Window would not shut, couldn't sleep due to noise from railway and pub underneath us Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I visited my sister and her family who live in Tuxford and needed a place to stay nearby. I chose The Fountain Inn, and I'm so glad I did! My young daughter and I stayed in a comfortable two-bedroom. Breakfast was provided every morning, and the room was clean and cozy. The staff were very helpful, and we enjoyed our meals in the restaurant. I would highly recommend this place to everyone, and I plan to stay here again next year!

The two roast potatoes tasted more like mini jacket potatoes, possibly because they had the skin on, and the mashed potatoes had a jacket potato flavor that I personally enjoyed. The teenagers had pizza and a chicken burger, and they said the chips were really good. The one who had the pizza even expressed a desire to come back the next day! The chicken dinner featured a Cajun chicken breast, and they also mentioned it was really tasty. Overall, we will definitely return at some point.

Upon my initial impressions, I was quite disappointed. The entrance was in disarray, the carpets were dirty, and the stairs leading to the rooms were covered with a carpet that had clearly seen better days. However, the room itself was acceptable. It was somewhat outdated and could use a refresh, but it was alright overall. The bedding was clean, and the towels were crisp and white. Additionally, biscuits and drinks were provided, along with a kettle, hairdryer, and TV. The price per person ranged from £20 to £30.
