"It used to be a big fan, but the Garrison really deteriorated. Small portions, large prices and rude staff. We had booked a table for 3 by OpenTable with a clear 2-hour slot policy. After 1 hour 15 minutes we were pushed to settle the bill (we only have ordered drinks after dinner) and then urged in less than courtesy way to release the table for the bar area (to accommodate two walks in customers). The bar area did not fit us and we refused to allow us to continue our conversation. We were challenged again to move and had to remind them that we had booked a two-hour slot and pointed out that there were more than 30 minutes left. Apparently, they need to use tables, but we would have bought more drinks. And if the request had been polite, with a recognition that they would have used us inconveniently, we would have done our best to commit. But not to reward rudeness and a facility that takes an arrogant for a self-evident attitude to its customers. Too bad it's so gone, but we won't be back."

Fantastic food! Imaginative and lots of flavour. I ordered sourdough with smoked butter while I waited for my friend to arrive and it blew my mind and taste buds. Can’t wait to go back.

Since twice in two weeks, both times without reservations and were quite happy to get a table as it jumps. Sunday roast was one of the best we ever had, while Picanha was amazing. Service is fast, efficient and super friendly.

Very accommodating and friendly service, but they don't have it quite right to earn a Michelin affiliation. Our fish was drowned in oil and paprika. mains soups was very small and overall we found it overpriced. The staff is lovely.

Eclectic and airy inside with all classic pub fare served at a very high level. We went to Sunday roast and it was great. 22 pounds for the Bratbeef. Recommend the Garrison Spray Cocktail and the Triple Schokopudding. A short 10-minute walk from Tower of London, ideal for tourists.

I loved everything about this place. The staff is so friendly and friendly. The atmosphere. The decor. A super relaxed mood, but with a touch of elegance and style. The food is great. Would you highly recommend if you are this site of London to have a cheeky cocktail or reserve for a pretty tasty meal.

A really tasty roast. Recommend the crumble for desert, too. The staff are lovely and there is a great selection of wine. The menu is a little on the pricey side but the restaurant has a lovely light and airy atmosphere, different to the traditional pub, it's got a sophisticated feel. Really enjoyed our time here and will definitely be coming back.

One of the new Michelins picks in town. I have to say it's been thinking about what South London is today. Probably five years ago, you wouldn't even think of a place for dinner in this part of the city. We're glad we made it this time. They say they specialize in fresh fish. Looks like they cook what they get: as you sit at the table, you will find an additional piece of paper over a “fish counter” selection. It wasn't nice! I had the monk grilled, which was so unusually tender. Bottom line: a place to keep in mind for your evening walks in South London.
