"I love this pub. Having visited and lived on and off in Fishguard for few years now this is definitely one of the main reasons I enjoy the town. Brian and Jean, the landlady and lord, are just ace, they look after their locals and pre covid did great food. There's always a brilliant atmosphere both inside and out in the beer garden with customers of all ages and the juke box plays superb music. Their recent stand against the local MP's who voted against free school meals for children has made me even more keen to support them. They are caring, sound people with strong principles who watch out for their community. A proper local."

Small, dark gloomy. Miserable landlord, Didn't feel welcome at all. Wouldn't go there again.

What a fantastic place the staff are wonderful, they offer vegan meals and all Covid 19 rules are met. I highly recommend this little Welsh gem.

Just popped in for a drink and had a very warm welcome in this nice old-fashioned style pub. I imagine it would be nice and cosy in the winter. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a friendly welcoming small pub, with great character and food produced from scratch. I’ve never had a bad experience there. I’m vegetarian and have always had good food. Thank you Brian andJean.

Met some friends in The Globe when I was visiting the area. What a delightful little place. The landlords Jean and Brian were very welcoming hosts and have created a warm, atmospheric place. I’ll be back again!

Always enjoy a friendly welcome in the Globe. We are really missing visiting as part of the cawl crawl this half term due to lockdown. Strange negative reviews are appearing when the pub is shut as part of lock down and when the owners have been put in the spotlight for campaigning against child hunger. I always enjoy visiting this pub and would not be put off by the questionable reviews.

I popped in for a drink and got chatting to the owners and locals. Very welcoming, local beer and inviting feel. Received lots of local knowledge regarding places visit and explore. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a genuine local pub with local knowledge and welcoming feel. Let’s all keep these real places running and support local businesses in these difficult times.5 stars all the way.

The Globe and Cegin Morris is a quaint, traditional little pub. It's super cosy, especially with the fire lit in Winter and perfect for whatever tipple you fancy. The old style jukebox adds to the vintage authenticity of it and the locals are welcoming and friendly. I've eaten here twice, seafood pizza is out of this world and the Sunday lunch was one of the tastiest I've had (and I've sampled a good few Sunday dinners! There's also a small, pretty garden for Summer evenings. Will always return whenever I visit Pembrokeshire.

"And lucky old us wow! This was a great surprise, we had no idea we were coming into something so unusual and so good. The garden space is very big and on the lawn, amongst the flowers, herbs and vegetable beds sit tables and chairs, mainly made of roughly hewn wood, plus tenty sheddy structures with heaters, teepee looking things and probably other structures I didn't take in.We were there when it was dark and there were strings of lights throughout the garden and it was all stunning and rather difficult to take in!The service was occasionally scatty but always well meaning and pleasant and mostly very professional and rightly proud of what they do, the place and the food they serve. The food! We were so thrilled with the food after some not very good experiences locally and, as others have said, we wished we'd found it earlier and been able to book another night.I had the pork belly which must have been cooking for hours, apart from the rind (not exactly crackling but still crispy and wonderful) I could cut the meat with my fork love to know how to achieve it. No taste had been lost in the cooking process and the fat was there but was kind of crumbly so it was gorgeous. And it came with great slices of home pickled carrot and fennel which was just delicious with a hint of sweetness and a hint of spice. And a puree which I believe was cauliflower. And don't forget the delicious little black pudding rissole that comes with it.As you can see, I could go on and on! My partner loved his succulent lamb, which was served with the same vegetables. Oh, and we had side dishes of seasonal greens and roasted beetroot and goats cheese these were also yummy and well flavoured, side dish didn't mean unimportant.Sadly, we didn't have dessert, what can I say, bet they're ace. This is far too long, do visit if you can it's a real treat with great cooking and lovely people."
