"the grove is a pretty cool place, not masquerading like anything at all, just a quirky pub that can find it feet. the beer is very cheap (a rarer place in london where they can buy a pint for under £4) and eating is amazing with huge portion sizes. if they like a burger when they will love this place, as it is quite their specificity, with bark meat, huhn and a lot of veggie options that as vegetarians me immensely pleased. the owners and the staff are beautiful and make themselves really effort to get to know them, 9 times from 10 they will be with them at the end of the evening on a first name basis. it is a hidden gem present, but in any case will not stay as long as they find...read more"

Really fun pub with a nice little garden area! Awesome burger menu, once my friend and I had finally decided the food came really quick and was delish. Staff are friendly, will definitely come back.

The Sunday lunch you dream of that will get you out of bed on a lazy Sunday! Crispy roast potatoes, creamy cauliflower cheese, stuffing huge yorkshire puddings and lashings of gravy. Lamb and mint sauce or sausages from Borough Market. Enormous portions! I wish it was my local!

Recommended by a friend and absolutely loved it. I'm not local but happened to be in the area and someone at work had mentioned this place. Was not disappointed at all. The food was lovely and really quick service. The staff were friendly and easy to approach. Will definitely go back when I'm next in the area. View menu

I see that the owner still people write reviews about his children playground masquerading as pub. there are so few people who use this place that they already do a 3 hours happy hour to customers in and are advertising for a new cook-presumably the last died of boredom and even some of the employees think for a pub to leave in the customers actually go! this place must lose so much money that it will be happy to be open to christmas. still a ridiculous menu and coarsely overpriced drinks, they avoid all costs!

A great discovery! The sister pub to Southwarks Lord Nelson, a place I drop in every time I'm in London. So we decided this time, my buddies and I would take a trip to Battersea and check out the new premises, and we were not disappointed. The menu of the same high standard as expected, it delivered perfectly. The burgers are modestly priced, and worth every penny. our meal arrived within 10 mins, and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Finished off with a few beers in the garden, with lanterns and fairy lights, all in all a successful evening. This is a real hidden gem, spread the word, you wont be disapointed!
