"I wouldn't really call myself a coffee snob but it turns out that living in New Zealand automatically makes you somewhat fussy about your coffee (the general standard is so good). I have realised this on previous travels and started to map out where to get a decent cup of coffee when going to new cities. The Holy Cross Brewing Society was on that map and boy was I pleased to find it!After a number of mediocre white coffees in Frankfurt I was brave enough to go for a single origin filter here and it was delicious. Upon asking, I found out that the lady behind the counter spent 4 years in Melbourne, Australia. You know you're in safe hands when you hear that.Go for the good stuff."

I had a great time here. I was able to work a bit on my laptop while having great coffee and cafe. The staff could not have been nicer. A place I’ll go back.

The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. We got a V60 and the coffee was honestly brewed to perfection, absolutely delicious. The selection of cakes looks good too.

Serves fresh coffee, pastries and much more. The coffee is really good, and the atmosphere is amazing. I spent an hour with local friends there, and it was great. Will definitely come back. View menu

Cozy and very well known place. Design is extremely nice and the ambient as well but we were not that satisfied with the service and with what we ordered. Despite this we would recommend it.

It located right next to the church in the Romer square. If you walk along the river (northern part), you can easily find it. It offers good coffee and small piece bread, and decent brunch menu!

The coffee is good but there is absolutely nothing to eat.Smal sweet pastries don't count. I don't think it would've been problematic for them to cook sandwiches or salads, but as it is a place where you can just drink coffee is simply redundant View menu

i had a morning to spend in frankfurt and this cafe came highly recommended. it was opened on a public holiday. the staff were not the friendliest unless i took the first initiative to speak to them, but what made up for it was the coffee and the pastries. the coffee was smooth, house blend was a dark roast and it was good. try the egg tarts, the puff pastry is delicate and crispy, and the egg custard is smooth and sweet. great for a morning before zipping off to explore the rest of germany.

The interior is cute and looks like a really nice coffee place where you can hang with friends or have a little work sesh.. Before I ordered I asked if they have wifi because I needed to work and the girl at the counter gave me the password. After I got my coffee and started to work a lady comes to me and says very unfriendly "no laptops on weekends". To my question "why?" she just replied "it's also written on our menus." Thanks for letting me order a 4€ iced coffee (not even that recommendable) first!!
