welcome as family, really beautiful bar and personal. I have tried to eat. interesting menu with local products available. also the Gin selection was impressive. clean and well furnished room. stays.

I had lunch on Saturday and tried the pork pie. It featured a light, crispy pastry and was filled with plenty of tender meat. It was the best pie I've had in a while! Thank you, and I would highly recommend it. Service: 5/5 Location: 5/5

Fabulous stay at The Horse and Groom, beautifully decorated, comfortable room. Bathroom was very luxurious with a free standing bath and nice toiletries. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of it. While the vegan options were somewhat limited, everything was beautifully presented and very flavorful. The main course could have benefited from some additional pulses, as it was fairly simple, but it was still a delightful dish. Overall, it’s a visit worth making. We love the H&G! It's the closest pub to our home in Minety and love visiting on a Friday night after a busy week of work or a mid-week break from eating at home. The new team that have been in place for a while now are doing a wonderful job. Lovely simple food at a very good price, and along with a lovely atmosphere. Thank you! Service: 5 Location: 5

We had such a lovely dinner at The Horse and Groom in Charlton last night with some friends. Every one of our dishes were delicious (which is hard to find), the staff were friendly and attentive and the restaurant had a beautiful cotswolds look and was very clean. Absolutely recommend. Comfortable overnight stop, spacious room, complimentary drinks, lovely dinner menu, breakfast a tad limited and one preferable option not available. Friendly, courteous staff. Only negative was the total impracticality of the shower which needs addressing. Rooms: Lovely room but shower issue lets it down. Food drinks: Good menu, nice cooked food, drinks a little expensive. Fabulous place to stay and eat. We had the delicious Sunday roast lunches (pork and turkey). All the members staff were charming and attentive. They also organised an amazing birthday cake for my partner. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy and we both slept very well. We enjoyed all the little touches and the generously-sized shower room. We would definitely return to the Horse and Groom and would consider staying in other places in the Butcombe Inn group.

My wife and I had a delightful stay on our way back from Cornwall. The room was impeccably organized and filled with thoughtful touches that demonstrated a genuine consideration for guest comfort. Dining in the restaurant was an exceptional experience, with high-quality food served by efficient and friendly staff. Breakfast was also excellent and very well presented.
