"The BEST Indian food I have ever had! I've tried Indian curry from high-end restaurants in London and all over Essex, but House of Spice is the best by far. In fact, last year I called them just to express how delicious the takeaway was that I picked up from them. Once again, during our holiday on the island, we enjoyed an outstanding takeaway. To top it all off, the staff are always incredibly friendly. We constantly crave House of Spice when we return to the mainland and look forward to ordering from them again. I give it a perfect 5-star rating across the board: Food: 5, Service: 5, Atmosphere: 5."

This is possibly the best curry house in Shanklin, and maybe even the Isle of Wight. I had a fantastic meal here, accompanied by excellent service. I recommend making a table reservation since it’s quite popular.

The food was very tasty and the service was helpful and personal. It was quite busy, so I recommend making a reservation. The starter was good, although the mango sauce was a bit runny. I enjoyed the curry and accompanying dishes, and the rice and naan bread were delicious. There was a wide variety of options to choose from.
