"Ordered roast dinner, told no beef which was fine so ordered chicken and asked for no bread sauce which had been put on my plate. When the roast turned up I had 3 new potatoes on my plate when I asked if this was right as I had no roast potatoes, was told they were busy today. Also ordered cauliflower cheese which wasn’t ready until the end of the meal which was also not good. We did speak to manager who was lovely and took off a round of drinks. Also when the chef was asked about the cauliflower cheese he was rude to the member of staff which we could hear which is totally unacceptable. So really didn’t enjoy our visit."

Beautiful Sunday roast. Great recommendation for the choice of main and dessert from staff. Really happy and back here.

Very average food, although expensive. Service very basic. They had a team looking at pest control around the tables while we were eating, which doesn't give us much confidence on cleaning.

Food was good, but not amazing about the price For example, the fish and chips had for £17, but it was not better than a £10 fish and chips. The service was great, but the hostess was very friendly and attentive.

I was two days in london and needed somewhere near chiswick for a Thursday night this was perfect a 4 minute walk to the kew gardens train station. the room was very comfortable, the bed especially so. service in the bar was very good and friendly and the eating was good. I would book under similar circumstances. only minus is that I have not yet had the VAT reception I should be sent.

We had lovely Saturday lunch time meal for 6 adults to celebrate a birthday, intending to go into Kew Gardens afterwards. It’s the perfect location for that. The manager was incredibly welcoming and we felt right at home. It wasn’t busy it really should be it’s a great place. Food was lovely all of our children are vegetarians and they were well catered for with plenty of options. Decor is lovely and classic and the whole place is clean and well cared for. We would not hesitate to go there again and recommend it to one and all.
