"This is not a Gastro pub. The only three options of a main meal on the menu. This is insufficient and we don’t want burgers. I chose medium rare beef. Two slabs of thick dark brown overcooked pieces leather arrived. I couldn’t even cut them. I sent them back and two medium rare slices arrived but they looked equally as tough so I switched to chicken. I’m not sure if it was chicken and not Turkey match as the meat was so thick and if I order roast chicken I expect to get say leg and thigh maybe o abreast -not on chunks of something. There was some sort of mushy veg underneath the Yorkshire pudding which was industrially produced, not produced in the kitchen. Let’s be quite clear with this Sunday roast in pubs, the meat is apparently is cooked and sliced in advance in industrial estate along with the gravy and the pudding I’ve never had a Yorkshire pudding with chicken before. then microwaved As far as I can make out. I don’t like being charged for service without my permission.. The waiting staff were inappropriately dressed with a girl, looking as if she was going out for a Saturday night fling or. Never again"

The beer was end of barrel bitter. Very strange tasting cauliflower soup.

We were met with friendly banter and lovely atmosphere. Kids had great meal options and main menu was also sufficient. Food was tasty and prompt, same with our drinks. Will be back to try the roast for sure! View menu

I was two days in london and needed somewhere near chiswick for a Thursday night this was perfect a 4 minute walk to the kew gardens train station. the room was very comfortable, the bed especially so. service in the bar was very good and friendly and the eating was good. I would book under similar circumstances. only minus is that I have not yet had the VAT reception I should be sent.

I booked for 7:30pm and later tables were also showing available. When I arrived I was told the kitchen closes at 7:30pm so I would need to be seated and order quickly! I said I didn’t want to feel rushed and why did they also then have later tables showing available? I thought this was pretty poor as I have travelled to visit the KGH but felt the service was so poor I left with my guest Probably won’t rebook here which is a shame
