the eating was as expected and all our party of 5 enjoyed their meals. as it was a busy bank holiday, some items had sold out, but that was not a problem. the personal is a credit to the company, everyone was very attentive and extremely pleasant. will definitely return.

We attended a wedding meal here last Wednesday. Staff were pleasant and smilies, nothing was to much trouble. Food was fantastic. Eaten there twice in the last week and the Sunday lunch was lovely. Will definitely be dining here again. Looks fantastic after the recent refurb with a fantastic outdoor area.

it is my first time here, but I would definitely go again! pampering, attentiveness to their needs, even if the place was very, very busy. the food was very good and that was worth waiting. joe who served us was exceptional in his desire to make our time there to remember! excellent service. you will not be disappointed!

Amazing stay at this warm and cosy Inn!! Roaring log fires, a warm welcome and great service from Eileen and the whole team made for a relaxing few days! Compliments to the chef for my perfectly cooked steak and all the staff who actually took the time to get to know us, what a difference that makes! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

During our visit to the area, we were looking for a place to enjoy a Sunday Roast. We came across the Cross Keys online, which had great reviews and a tempting menu. It was easy to book a table online, and the service was excellent. Most importantly, the meals were outstanding. I highly recommend the rib of beef; it was so tender it practically fell off the bone and tasted amazing! Overall, I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all as 5 out of 5.

Service was good , had a 40 min wait for food which we were told before we ordered so that was fine. First choice unavailable but had our second choice. Ordered steak this came very dry, only served with a handfull of oven chips , a half of tomato and a bit of lettuce. Would have been nice to have a bit of salad , mushrooms and onion rings.mushroom pie ordered ,it was okay , gravy served in a small jug and wouldnt pour just came out as a set jelly. We were dissapointed in the food unfortunately. Quite expensive £45,00 for 2 meals and a drink. Would have expected better food. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4
