"We’ve just had a lovely overnight stay at this gastro pub. Check in was seamless and self service. We stayed in granary suite which is really roomy and comfortable. We ate dinner in the restaurant and oh my word, the food is outstanding. We both had Jimmys Parma style ham to start which was served with a crostini, poached pear, baron bigood cheese, onion relish and Parma stud ham. For mains we had fallow dear and Hereford duo of beef and we shared the double chocolate mousse for pudding. Prices for the standard of good are good but the prices for the great quality wines even better. Many similar places would hike the wine prices up to match the food but huge respect for them not following suit. Service was wonderful, the whole team are just lovely"

The accommodations were all fine. I would say that £24 for fish and chips with peas and a £5.60 pint of lager is a bit pricey.

Cosy, friendly atmosphere. No nonsense food, well cooked and presented with very generous portions. An excellent lunch all round, thank you.

Absolutely fantastic food, really delicious. Great staff nothing is too much trouble and always well looked after. Ok the pricey side but it’s worth it for the quality of food. View menu

I had a few nights ago the smoked wild bird trio and I must say it was exquisite. the first time you try such a court and now you won't be the last. the apricose and mandeltee was an amazing finish to eat what was a very unforgettable. I can't expect to try more at my next visit. Thank you all. a great, rare eating experience.

My spouse and I arrived at the restaurant with our two dogs at 2:50 in the morning. Despite being the only two customers left, we were warmly greeted. We decided to return for dinner that evening, even though it wasn't originally planned. The service was exceptional and something rarely seen these days. We will definitely be coming back.

We meet our friends for a Sunday lunch several times a year it’s a good half way point for us all, we’ve tried other local gastro pubs and nowhere is as good at The Kings Arms. Had lunch here yesterday and it’s fabulous. Easy to book, loads of space to park on site, cosy atmosphere, friendly and very efficient staff and a super roast lunch. Perfect. View menu

Absolutely fabulous. Our original accommodation fell through and I booked online 20 minutes before we turned up. The lovely lady was printing out our information and taking us to our room as soon as we got there. Not missing a beat. The room was made up as if they were expecting us and clean as a whistle. Lovely towels and a big comfy bed. We slept well, had a lovely dinner and morning breakfast. Would recommend to anyone.

one of the best meals I've eaten for a long time. game meat on the next level with impeccable combinations and presentation. while some of the prices were pushing it out of daily eating and possibly responsible for the relatiw quiet Friday evening we have experienced, it is completely justified for the quality. the game charcuterie platter was unequivocal and excellent worth and I would be happy back for that alone. the muntjac sattelhaupt was a spectacular and refined dish that was truly unforgettable. I will be back to try more of the menu, as my only disappointment was unable to try more of the food. possibly the best eating in rutland now.
