"Stopped in on the off chance to see if they did a Sunday roast. We were cutting it fine, but the lady behind the bar managed to squeeze us in, albeit outside. Nice, independent selection of beers and cider on tap. The roast was lovely, only two roasties, but this was more than made up for for a plentiful portion of lamb and a massive Yorkshire pud! Very good selection of veg brought out and everything was super tasty (top marks for the gravy! Only marked down for loos, bit dark n dingey and no sign of mint sauce! (outside so couldn't take the time to go and ask for it as my food would go cold! All in all, a cracking little pub, well worth the diversion!"

Charming little country pub with excellent food and attentive service. We visited for lunch and were delighted by the lovely gastro menu, which featured some intriguing specials. Local beers were also available.

Oh my goodness please save yourselves and do not go here! Except maybe for a pint. The food is disgusting and a rip off! It is 100% false advertising on the website as they do not have anything like that being served. Very disappointed. We booked weeks in advance as our arrival was at the height of summer only to find when we arrived they weren’t serving food. No one contacted us to cancel the booking. As you can imagine you can’t get anywhere booked for short notice on a Saturday night at the height of the season. Very disappointed as we could have made other plans.
