They offer a dedicated vegan menu, although I was a bit confused by the desserts menu being the same as the regular menu. I would advise confirming with the staff to ensure all desserts are vegan. I reached out to inquire about vegan hot chocolate and received a prompt and informative response confirming its availability, which I appreciated. The vegan menu may not be as extensive as expected, but it still offers enough variety for multiple visits, particularly if you enjoy pizza. I tried the diced corn ribs, which were delicious, though the chips were a bit soggy. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance and attentive staff, making it a great choice for a sunny day in Southsea."

I celebrated my 49th birthday at this restaurant on a Saturday night, and I must admit I was a bit nervous since I had never tried this type of cuisine before. However, I decided to go with the flow and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, helping us choose the perfect wine to complement our meal. The food itself was absolutely delicious, the best I've ever had, and worth every penny. I couldn't have asked for a better dining experience or company.

Located on Florence Road, The Garden is a hidden gem that is only open from May to September each year. I always make sure to visit at least once during this time. They offer a separate vegan menu and even have a vegan burger with chips for kids, in case you don't want to order off the regular menu for them. This year's menu includes pizzas, light bites, and the popular grilled corn "ribs" served with avocado dressing. Their dessert selection is impressive and the setting of the restaurant is truly charming.
