"Yikes. Restaurant Le Lacustre is a restaurant you've been to many, many times before. Beautiful atmosphere and view, but such a tourist trap that the service is awful and the food is mediocre. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? You've got a mixed back here. The atmosphere, unquestionably, is fantastic namely on the count that you're on the shores of Lake Geneva with one of the best views one can have. That's the good. Now, the bad is that service is awful full stop. Slow, grumpy, yadda yadda yadda. No Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? 22,00 CHF for a full English Breakfast isn't something I haven't seen before, but in those previous situations I received a feast to be sure. I initially thought this too was a feast, but it turned out to be a feast predominantly of beans. More on that later, but for Lausanne and the atmosphere the price point wasn't quite fully unreasonable. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Looking at the picture, you might suspect I was initially quite excited for this I was. It looked great, it looked complex, and it looked like a unique iteration of the full english in bowl form. Interesting! Unfortunately, it was in practice far less complicated, because underneath it was really all just beans with the rest sprinkled on top. So, so, so, so many beans, and they took over the entire dish not in the good way. Single Star. Star 5: Would you be excited to go back? I would not. No Star."

Very good bar with good music and a little nightclub atmosphere, the cocktails are good and made in front of us. Unfortunately I don't give it a 5 because the bar closes too early.

Great view to the lake geneva, the main course of self grilling meat is great, the service is a bit slow and the menus are only in french, but the staff is friendly and helpful if u ask : all and all good value for money with amazing view just next to the lake View menu

In a bustling bar where night skies ignite, An international crowd finds delight. With a DJ so keen, his beats never fall flat, They dance 'til dawn, where the excitement 's at. The food, not the star, but it passes the test, As a late-night haven, it 's one of the best. Great views sweep the scene, a feast for the eyes, A nocturnal gem where the spirit flies.

Good view (if you can get a seat on the lake side . No service. Very busy and have to queue at the bar for both food and drinks. I think they get away with a lot because there is little competition on the lake front in Lausanne. Food is good most of the time. Vibes are good it's always busy. But, NO BABY CHANGING! I understand this isn't necessary on a Friday or Saturday night but for brunch/coffee it absolutely is. I had to change our baby on the decking on the cold side of the building in January, then face critical comments from a customer walking by (who was also a parent of a young baby by the way!
