The food, though well we thought, was overpriced. Our table was booked for 8 o'clock and from 9.15 we had 3 courses. Very fast. The wine was fine, but could have been colder. The staff was nice.

To be honest, our experience in the lawn was not so great. The restaurant was cold, my husband never got his cauliflower cheese, and my chips were super crispy.... The goat cheesecake and the burgers were beautiful. Unblocked WLAN would have been good.

Honestly, our time at The Lawns was not very good. The restaurant was cold, my husband didn't receive his cauliflower cheese, and my fries were too crispy. However, we enjoyed The Goat's Cheesecake and The Burger. It would have been nice if they had Wi-Fi available for customers.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch on Easter Sunday. The food was well presented and delicious. We had alerted the restaurant to the fact that we would be celebrating our daughter's birthday a few days early, but they made no mention of it and we felt uncomfortable about reminding them as they were busy.

An improvement of the previous owners now more a restaurant than a pub. We were there at a Monday noon that was calm and not many other diners. The menu was short but interesting and the food well presented and pleasant. We will go back and look forward to meeting the staff and offering them better.

During our visit on a quiet Monday lunchtime, we found the menu to be concise yet intriguing, and the food was well-presented and delicious. We plan on returning again soon and are excited to get to know the staff better and experience even better service.
