"Second visit, yet again first class. My wife and granddaughter had prawn cocktails which were more like a prawn salad I had chicken goujons which were very filling. My son declined a starter as he said they were very large, they were! Two of us had chicken burgers which were thick slices of breast with bacon and cheese, chips and salad. Wife had faggots and grandaughter had scampi. Desserts were very reasonably priced at 3.75 ad the two that had them yet again had large portions. All food was of good quality served hot with friendly young staff."

I recently met up with some friends for a meal. The food was super and nothing was too much trouble. We will be going back soon.

This was my first visit to the London Inn following a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. The pub is spacious with a good beer garden, the staff are friendly and the Sunday lunch carvery was great with a good selection of food and extremely good value . This pub certainly deserves your support.

The London Inn from the outside is the plainest, most boring looking pub you could imagine. Inside it is quirky, friendly, and fun. I judge pub food by their fish, and last night I had excellent fresh cod, which was more acquainted with the sea than the freezer. Generous portions with friendly service from a young staff who would not have been out of place in a more prestigious hostelry

We were staying locally so wanted to try out the local pub. In contrast to do many places in our home area (the Cotswolds) this has not gone minimalist decor gastro menu with prices to match. As soon as we walked in we got a wide smile and welcome from the owner. Drinks are very reasonably priced including local ales, and the food menu is also terrific value, with very generous portions. There’s a midweek offer on their pizzas which is even better value. It’s unpretentious and friendly. Just what we were looking for! View menu

Five friends spent the evening in this pub, booked for an evening meal. All chose something different and all our meals were delicious. Plates were hot, food cooked to our taste and the Steak and Ale pie, that I chose, was one of the best tasting pie that I have ever experienced. The pub was very busy and the lady was rushed of her feet serving but she made time to ensure our meals were satisfactory. The Kit Kat cheesecake was not to our liking but that is a personal thing. Will definitely be visiting this estabishment again.

This was a Sunday lunch at a pub never visited before. Family had moved in to area so to save them time as they still had not unpacked we went to the local pub for lunch. It was bright cheerful and busy, friendly welcome, there was a blackboard menu but we choose the carvery. Choice of two meats Beef or Turkey. Eight yes Eight vegs to help yourself from plus Yorkshire puds. Very well cooked both meats moist and good size servings. The price was also excellent under £10 a head. We will go again and try some of theother dishes.

"Been wanting to try this ‘alternative’ pub for a while. Large car park with plenty of space, no steps or slopes into the bar. Access for buggies, wheelchairs etc should be okay, my mother walks with the aid of a frame and has no issues. Inside the decor is certainly alternative but in a great way, loved it! Plenty to look at, keep you entertained and talk about as you wait for your food or just pass the time. Staff were friendly and welcoming, there was just one guy running the bar, taking food orders and bringing food out; I thought he needed a helper or coworker really. There is a decent bar area with seating or there is more ‘restaurant’ style seating further back beyond the bar. We chose to sit in the bar area seating which is a mixture of booth and chairs. Dogs are allowed in which is great, there is free Wi-Fi which is good as my mobile signal was very poor. The menu is standard pub food, quite a bit of choice and plenty of options for gluten free. I chose to have the fillet steak cooked medium, I had a starter of garlic bread but chose for it all to come out together. Mother had beef brisket loaded fries, the portion was massive so I had to help her finish it. The steak was perfectly cooked, I chose to have the peppercorn sauce; this was a bit watery and bland. The steak comes with chunky chips, peas, mushrooms, tomatoes and onion rings. For dessert I had the nutty apple crumble with ice cream, it was okay. Overall this is a great venue with acceptable food, friendly staff and awesome decor that will keep you talking and looking all night. Based on this experience I would visit again."
