"We were in London for Canada Day and a friend messaged us to suggest this spot. As Canadians we loved the theming. The place was obviously very busy but I got a good look at the menu and feel it would be worth trying some food but thankfully was able to get to the bar to order a Caesar cocktail with the right stuff. They also had Canadian beers like Molson Canadian, Sleemans and I saw some Moosehead around too. A very nice way to celebrate Canada Day and would also be a nice spot to get a nice sports bar meal or if you 're on vacation and missing Canada for those Canadians abroad. We loved that they had a hockey stick ready to serve slapshots . Covent Garden and Charing Cross are the closest tube stations and there are quite a few busses that serve the area as well. It is close to attractions like Trafalgar Square, Embankment and the many theaters of West End. A surprisingly prime location in Central London."

A very well priced LDN watering hole (drink and especially food), with great servers and sport on the TV. Brilliant.

They did not have gluten free beer and only one horrible cider on tap that I could drink after putting salt on it because of how sweet it was.

Don't know if a Canadian was a part of the ownership but it could be better. Bartender didn't know about hockey and the beer was.... That's basic Canadian. But as a Canadian I'm just happy they are acknowledging Canada.

It was London Pride 29/07, extremely hot day. Just off the train from Dorset, stopped for a glass of cool sparkling water infused with lemon and lime. Sat outside under an umbrella. Great international atmosphere. Clean toilets View menu

Very Canadian food! Love the Poutine definitely go for the classic! The bar staff are very friendly and run a very tight ship. Not usually super busy on most days, but on hockey days it is absolutely packed (the same goes for most big sports events)!

We went to the gasto pub day to refresh after seeing some of the pride parade and surprising there was there was not decor to celebrate pride! Clearly not a place that would be welcoming of such thing as when we tried to go to the bar to order drinks the bouncer stopped us to say we had enough evened though we have not yet had order or had too much drink! We had a drink maybe a drink or two at the previous bar. Some of our group Had got in however were lot wearing any pride colors so I suspect it was because we’re dressed in pride outfits that we were denied! Never again would i go especially looking at the prices of drink!

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
