The Pheasant Carvery

Lovely carvery and really good value for money. Plenty of choice and the beef melted in my mouth. Nice catch up with friends in a clean and tidy pub. Can highly recommend.

Paying extra £2.40 on top off price off your roast for Sunday and getting small mounts off meat I had turkey and gamone and beef was all gresal Get a Cheff who looks after the customer

Carvery was excellent as always and drink selection was good. It was rather busy being Father’s Day but the service to get drinks was a little slow. Overall recommend to anyone wanting a roast! View menu

This is effectively our local, and since venturing in have been back many times. The food is always delicious, the staff friendly and welcoming and huge car park so handy for car meets too (Wilts V-Dub Club)

Have eaten here a few times, lovely carvery. Choice of 3 meats. Staff very helpful friendly. On this occasion, due to having surgery on my foot, they suggested that they seated me nearest to the carvery. Fabulous service, thank you.

Easy to book. A warm welcome and a table provided near the Carvery for us (my wife has a walking frame). Very good quality food as usual and a very reasonable price. We've visited quite a number of times now and certainly intend to come again! View menu

Didn't go for food on this occasion as I have eaten here before and find the roast dinner a bit bland and stale but the pub on the whole is very good, really enjoyed the quiz and was a fun night as was the music a couple of weeks before with End Of Story

My husband and myself visited today at lunch time and both had the Big Al's hot dog and fries cost £13:95 each and totally disappointed with the meal , the hot dog was a frankfurter sausage and the hand full of fries wouldn't feed a child, the staff that served us were friendly but sorry to say would not visit again

Have previously had the carvery when here and it has been excellent. On this occasion it wasn 't available due to the time we arrived (travelling back home). Rather limited choice from the rest of the menu. The food was fine, but nothing special. Not sure how frozen carrots and peas count as 'seasonal green vegetables '! We were the only people in there when ordering, but the food took over 40 minutes to arrive and, apart from the gravy, was a bit lukewarm. The young man who served us was very pleasant and attentive. Think we 'll ensure we 're there for the carvery in future. View menu
