Went there early on Friday evening. Not got full menu yet but we really enjoyed our meals. Staff were nice and enjoyed our experience

Went with a friend and had the steak with bernaise sauce, was delicious. Staff were really helpful, attentive but not intrusive. Will definitely be going again.

Very good take away Sunday roast. It was delivered on time with great choice of veg and nice gravy. The apple crumble and custard was very nice too. They even phoned after delivery to check that we were happy. We will be using them again....Well done!

We’ve had the takeaway pie , chips and peas option twice over the last few weeks great both times. Excellent quality pies (we’ve had the steak ale and steak/blue cheese) with equally good crispy chips. Friendly, COVID safe and efficient service. (We collected,...so can’t comment on delivery

Today we met a friend for a drink and there were people who had ordered vegetarian roasts. they had actually asked if everything was vegetarian and was said. when I got up, the potatoes were boiled in gänsefett and. the heavy was not vegetarian. when this person was appreciable and very pleasant about it, the manager lost the property completely and was so abusive to him. If I hadn't met with someone, I would have got it out. I thought next week I'd take a group of people there, no chance.

Stopped in for a beer after a bike ride yesterday. Sat in the garden round the back as had my dachshund with us but noticed that dogs were allowed inside. We ended up having food too absolutely delicious sandwiches! I can highly recommend the...Cajun chicken which was served with thick fresh bread, and lightly spiced, creamy chicken. My other half had a cheese, ham pickle sandwich which he said was just as nice. Also had hot perfectly cooked chips. The bar lady made us feel very welcome and we'd definitely like to visit again. Thank you!

my wife, my two teenage children have booked themselves to a sunday, last minute we have two close friends and even closer to our booking we added another couple of their two young children. they couldn't have taken anything more... was too much angry. eating was amazing, we had a mix of bark meat huh, the meat was exactly right that were veg and kartoffels as if we had a home cooked meal. the renter landlady felt so welcome and the barmaid was super helpful. I would highly recommend this pub. this is a typical British pub that we seem to lose more and more of them. the open fire is a must for me, we will be back!

we were on the road and decided to stop here as everywhere near was full. it's easy to see why there was space here. it was really unforgiving. I've eaten at some bad places, but that's probably the worst. the pizza was. hard like a burned piece of brot that tasted like a burned piece of brot. the Cheesy chips were and came out as literally or chips on a side panel. I asked her if this was the chips from the menu and said I would rather just take them away. she returned and asked if we wanted more chips on the teller, said my man yes, bless him, so she took the plate and put some simple chips on the chess. so bizarre. the service was slow, but very nice and polite. zero stars. not recommende...

came here on a Sunday afternoon after we were not able to get a table booking in other pub restaurants that we tried close. we were told when we arrived that from the items or objects on the menu, of which they were already sold out. we ordered a frying and fish and chips. the bratkartoffels were completely burned, barely seeing any carrots inside, the pickles were honest as veggie warps I have never seen anything like it, there were cauliflower cheeses that the whole brat was swimming in the cheese sauce, the half of my plate was white cut kohl, and the gravy was very bland and basic pure to fto without giving. the fish was also made too much and dry. my man advised the dame that we were no...
