"The local community pub is absolutely charming. Despite arriving after lunch hours, the friendly bartender and chef graciously served us a delicious meal. We enjoyed our lunch by the cozy fireplace with our dogs, accompanied by a few drinks. Impressed by the hospitality, we returned on Sunday for drinks and darts, staying well into the evening enjoying the tasty roast potatoes. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we had the pleasure of meeting locals Jean and Paul. Jean, a talented painter, even offered to paint portraits of our dogs. This pub is one of the most welcoming we have visited, with both staff and patrons making us feel at home. We are looking forward to booking our stay at the nearby cottage and visiting this pub again. Thank you to everyone for a wonderful experience!"

of us went for supper. Food good. Service fast and friendly. Nice atmosphere throughout the pub. The new chef has created an interesting (not extensive) menu and the food is well presented on the plate.

Had a very pleasant dining experience next to the open fireplace. The atmosphere was fantastic and the staff were extremely friendly. The restaurant is in a great location and they offer a selection of local beers.

We met some friends here for lunch. Excellent, friendly service and the food was delicious and the portions were large. There was a good choice of food, including lovely desserts. The pub had a really nice atmosphere cozy and friendly. Cost very reasonable per head: main course, dessert, drinks and coffee) View menu

I can honestly say that was the worst thing we ever had. Frozen fish served for the starter and a combed half-huh for pornstar. only two people in the restaurant have so little hastened their feet, which may have apologised for mistakes. such a shame...as it really likes to support local businesses. Unfortunately, it won't eat there again.

this place is beautiful, warm and friendly running from a beautiful couple. when we arrived, we felt like a part of the family, we sat and menus arrived immediately, followed by our drinks, eating followed in a short time! eating was deliciously hot perfectly cooked, environment was. I would recommend to house that. we will be back and forth

We were staying self-catering in the village visited this community run pub several times (also the associated shop). There was invariably a warm friendly welcome atmosphere, with prompt efficient service. Good beers (including very local brews) and well cooked food with plenty...of fresh (locally grown) vegetables. Also special mention to the sticky toffee pudding custard which was just wonderful!

We received fantastic service from cheerful owners upon arrival at the restaurant. The menu offered great value for delicious food, and our dishes arrived hot with generous portions. Everything was cooked perfectly and we were both pleased with our meals. The atmosphere was very relaxing, with a lot of history and friendly locals sharing stories. We highly recommend this place as we had no complaints!
