"The food at this small village pub is outstanding. We are a group of friends who meet up on first Saturday of every month for lunch and Leza never let's us down. Her Caribbean curry is just simply the best. I come all the way from Nottingham for this! My man has had her homemade pie mash or sausage mash and both are excellant. Others in our group have tried different dishes on the menu all good! As for her puddings ....well what can I say? Leza works her magic on these too. This pub is def 10 out of 10 from me and I'm sure I speak on behalf of the rest of our group. Often 12 of us and she delivers food hot and as close together as is feasibly possible."

We visited for Sunday lunch and we're very pleasantly surprised. The puddings were also fantastic and the chocolate brownie went down a treat.

Excellent food and quick friendly service. There were 9 of us and the food came out together and was tasty and generous-sized portions. Would highly recommend.

The Red Lion is like a breath of fresh air. The food is of very high standard and the lady in charge provides quality home cooking at reasonable prices. Also her curries are brilliant from her Caribbean background knowledge.

Fabulous, food great staff. So enjoyed our dinner this evening. Food was cooked perfectly. I don't normally write reviews but the team at The Red Lion, Digby deserved a mention and a big 10 out of 10. Good choice and great service, and priced spot on. The beer was superb too. View menu

Great food, very friendly and attentive staff, with excellent service. A fairly big group of us went along for a leaving function for a work colleague and the Red Lion didn't disappoint. We had pre-ordered due to the size of the group, and they were well prepared for us with minimal waiting time. Everyone was happy with their food (I'm another convert/fan of the Caribbean curry) and the staff really couldn't do enough for us, which really enhanced the whole evening. Highly recommended and thanks again!

Visited the Red Lion as it was the local pub for our stay in Digby. What a lovely place, from the moment we walked in we had a very warm welcome from the friendly guy behind the bar. We ordered food from a very comprehensive menu and were so pleased with our choices, food was plentiful, really tasty and cooked to perfection. The whole evening was really relaxed and its such a shame our visit was on the last evening of our short break to the area. 100% recommend The Red Lion if you're visiting the area you won't be disappointed!

"We choose this spot because of the many positive reviews. I guess we turned up on a bad day!I have only been introduced to coffee a few years ago despite being in my mid 50’s and really don’t like coffee unless a well made flat white. I travel the world frequently for work and always ask the same question, can you make a flat white? The reason being unless the person is a passionate barista I rarely get a coffee I enjoy. This question clearly upset the lady serving us who ‘rolled her eyes out loud’ by the question and then represented the request to her colleague in a manner that was more like ‘we have a pain in the arse’ than ‘can we make this gentleman a nice coffee. (Yes we overheard).Everything was fine except the flat white was a milky coffee and not something I enjoyed. Not a problem though. I never said a word but when asked at the counter how things were I thought I would say everything was good except the ‘flat white’. Immediately confronted by both in very hostile way was very surprising as I was only answering a question I thought they were interested in hearing I placed a review on their website and their response is a really good example of their attitude. Instead of focusing on service recovery they wanted to blame me and absolve themselves of any responsibility.I of course mentioned this to a few people in Sleaford and surprise surprise was met with very similar responses, ‘we don’t go there anymore as the staff can be very rude’ Looking forward to seeing how the proprietors decide to respond to this one."
