"Visited several times due to location however also had a very good meal. The pub is located next to Lacock Abbey and has a very good under cover seating area. As we had bicycles this was great as we could leave the cycles next to the table. The pub is not big inside but with the outside area there is plenty of seating. There is a car park next door but this is owned by the National Trust so would check if there are any charges. The food was very good and reasonably priced. However drinks varied in price but as with many places in tourist areas costed between £14 to £19. Nearby activities: Situated next to Lacock Abbey and the lovely village of Lacock which has been used in many films such as Harry Potter."

Brilliant service, as a coeliac they were one of the most competent restaurants I have ever eaten at. We had two dinners and a breakfast and the staff where knowledgeable, the menu well adapted and the kitchen operate a separate fryer etc for GF food. Even those eating non gluten free enjoyed their food and were impressed. Prices very reasonable for this excellent level of service. We didn't stay at the pub so haven't rated the rooms. This pub was very busy and unless you had booked, it was a wait. We therefore went for a walk around the quaint village and came back a bit later. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my food, I had a well-done burger with a lot of chips, in fact I couldn't eat it all and had half to take away. My friend ordered a vegetarian curry with lentils, which she said was very nice too. My food was £18.75 with a coke, some would class that as reasonable, I thought it was a bit expensive if I'm honest. Overall a nice place to visit if in the area.

Hi Just wanted to say thank you so much again for the effort you went to for our reservation this afternoon. Our daughter had the most wonderful 10th birthday thank you! The Harry Potter themed decorated tables you provided for us were amazing. Thank you so much for all the effort the staff went to.
