"Restaurant Bar Grill is owned by Individual Restaurants, of which own a couple of restaurants around the city, including on in partnership with celebrity chef, Gino D 'acampo which is one of my favourite Italians in the city, this offers a different type of cuisine in a large, stunning building just off Deansgate on John Dalton Street, it is opposite Salvi 's. Walking in, it doesn 't feel like a restauraunt at all and I did struggle to find this place at first and I had to use Google Maps in my own city and only located it through it being opposite Salvi 's. The place inside is huge, you enter through a bar, upstairs you have the restauraunt and terrace area, keep going up and you have Head Office. The staff were so friendly and kind especially the host who escorted me upstairs and to my seat. The gluten free menu had some good options, I ordered a gluten free greek kebab, I was told it consisted of chicken, peppers, onions and it sounded pretty good so I ordered it, the service, however, was really slow and I must have been waiting over 20 25 minutes only to be served a gluten containing item instead, it was served with a form of bread, I had to check it was gluten free, only to be told No I asked them to remake the dish as it wasn 't gluten free to avoid cross contamination which they had no problem with, again this meant I had to wait even longer which was a pain considering the restauraunt was mostly empty, with only 3 or 4 tables of which looked like staff sitting there, probably from Head Office as they didn 't seem to be ordering food either, I totally understand waiting for food when it 's busy but considering it was virtually empty, I can 't understand why or at least I didn 't understand why until I tasted the food, I couldn 't understand why a stunning, large venue offering 50% off food could be empty, of course until the food. My kebab was awful and if it wasn 't for the staff making it free due to my long waiting time and the fact I didn 't want to spend much longer in the restauraunt, I would have sent it back. The chicken was bland, and it also had halloumi on which I wasn 't expecting, I bit into this and it tasted so bad, halloumi is one of my most hated foods anyway, accompanied by something which tasted like pico de gallo, this just put me right off my food regardless, I do think a better explanation either on the menu or from the staff at what food would be served is warranted, as I didn 't get what I was expecting at all. The portion size for the prize also is laughable, my dish normally would have cost £18.50, with no sides plus a service charge. 1* Considering how great the host and most of the staff were it 's a shame to give such a low rating, but I think it is warranted given the circumstances of the long wait times, poorly described terrible food and the fact I was given gluten by mistake and if I hadn 't of been suspicious and asked to confirm if my food was gluten free, I could have been really ill. By the time my dish was remade, I had lost all confidence in this place to be able to deliver a safe meal regardless."

Top quality food, prepared with skills from high standard ingredients. We had a very large work group for an annual event and the service was impeccable and very organised. Highly recommended.

Very disappointing, usually good service and food, but unfortunately mediocre service and tepid food. Background music drowned out conversation. Returned, food good shrimp risotto and steaks ,except for the chips (Old reheated) A bit slow to be served took an hour!

It's a very posh bar! Loads of good food on offer. Make sure you order all the sides as you main only comes with the meat! Which can make it expensive. But I do think it's worth it. The best thing about this place is the incredible service. It's of the very highest order!

Well.. The best meal have had in a very long time! Lets start with the venue, fantastic open air dining on the terrace, powerful heaters to keep you at the right temperature. The service was outstanding, really caring and recommendations for food were great. Food was cooked to perfection and produce was outstanding! Returning again soon!

I just want to say a massive thank you for Saturday night to appreciate the 70th birthday of my mother. we were closed by gusto and they did not contact us so that they kindly put together a table in the last minute and gave us a wonderful meal and a fabulous time. I didn't get names because I was already a few drinks deep, but the young ladies with long red and brown hairs at the reception, the general manager, the young ladies up and our server were all fabulous and a credit to the restaurant and bar. You now have a customer for living. Thank you.

we have booked a table for our 10-year anniversary last Saturday. we have a place on the terrace that is beautiful, many tables with open roof, leather sofa and it is heated. there was a dj that played good music in the background, the atmosphere was really good and the staff that we were so friendly and could not do enough for us (the personal did it honestly for us, we were well looked after) the eating was absolutely tasty together with the house red! (the only small disappointment was that they didn't get anything with their meal, I chose the steak and had to take £4.50 for karto

I visited this restaurant on a quiet Tuesday evening to meet friends. We were seated on the outside balcony, which was a comfortable temperature thanks to the heaters. The staff were knowledgeable about the wines and menu, and were happy to help us make our selections. I ordered the Asian sharing platter, which was fresh and delicious. For my main course, I had the chicken paillard, which was a butterflied breast of chicken topped with mango pieces and a tasty curry sauce. My partner enjoyed a whole rack of ribs with slaw and chips, which was also very good. We paired our meals with a rose Pinot Grigio that was reasonably priced at £23. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
