"a delightful tavern that I am on the go and used the fayre in the offer, both solid and liquid). a fine pint and very good value one pot serve everything well. the rose is a wonderful rambling art by pub, across the street of new cross station. there is a large rear seating area with a spacious courtyard garden, also a little more room in the upper floor. the personal here is excellent, welcoming and cheerful. this is a pleasant place to immerse yourself in a drink."

Sunday roasts and pizza were fabulous. especially pleasant is the new chef bruno who has taken time to bring us through the best options in the menu. with workers like bruno and such food we will be visiting again!

Expensive! Pub selling itself as a restaurant with prices to match. Beware of the added service charge! Good food, well appointed interior. Staff pleasant enough though not really dressed for the image they try to sell. I would go again but I'll have to save up a bit first. View menu

Went on a Sunday. Typically you expect to wait longer on Sunday service. But it would be better customer service to be told that food will take an hour. Food was good but not exceptional. If something is within the description of the menu item please ensure it is on the plate/bowl. Overall good place.

I live in the borough and have always passed this bar, at the bus stop opposite new cross gate station, its like an oasis in the side, they do not expect it to be as beautiful as it is my friend visited and suggested that we go, the eating was great with great portions, the ambiente and the mood was relaxed, the staff was attentive and friendly overall a great time. I would definitely go back.
