superb food and very good service from the personal. we had a table for 8 and our experience was first class of welcome to bill. highly recommended

This restaurant is like a hidden gem. We came here to celebrate a special occasion and the service was very attentive. It's a lovely spot to enjoy a drink and unwind.

We’ve enjoyed Sunday lunch a couple of times recently. Delicious roast beef, pork or lamb and home made dessert selection. Great atmosphere thanks to the welcoming, smiley, friendly staff. Would definitely recommend.

Evening visit with party of 10. Very nice country pub with good selection of drinks with a well thought out and competitively priced menu. From start to finish service and food excellent. Thank you Zoe for your patience and excellent service.

The food at this restaurant was high quality pub fare at a reasonable price. We booked a table online, but there seemed to be some issues with the reservation system. However, they still accommodated us even though it was bustling with customers. My only complaint is that the young servers could use more training. View menu

I am not someone who usually checks places, but the lunch today in the royal exchange was absolutely wonderful. from the incredibly friendly and relaxed welcome, to the delicious food and excellent service; nothing was too much annoyed and everything was beyond and beyond the norm. thanks to the royal exchange team that they make a wet day very laborious and pleasant in the did.

Wow! That's the best description,, we both had roast lamb,, then had dessert both home made. I had the lotus brownie with delicious ice cream and hubby had their bread and butter pudding with cinnamon custard! Best lunch we have eaten in years! Well done...to the staff, all happy and so polite. The whole team were so so efficient and top class food! We will be back soon, with the whole family

Eight of us went to dinner for our annual football committee dinner and it was absolutely perfect! The ambiance was beautiful, the food was wonderful, the service was excellent, and the attention to detail was impeccable. Our meals were pre-ordered and our table was marked with place cards so the waitstaff didn't even need to ask who ordered what. They were able to impressively navigate where people were sitting and what they had ordered. We had a lot of laughs and it really put us in the holiday spirit.
