"What a great find. Menu for carnivores, like me, is really good and veggies, like my wife, get a good look in too. My scallop pad Thai was a delight. I was fully expecting rubbery scallops, but no. They melted in the mouth and the blend of spices was excellent. I want the secret of that mix. Atmosphere is great with traditional decor. We felt quite young as the Over Stratton over 85s group was in. One actually apologised about the noise they had been making as they all have hearing problems. Staff very pleasant too. Just one very very very small thing though. You really don't have to bless me every time you visit the table. We will definitely be back."

this is a fabulous pub with fantastic food and a warm welcome. we had many meals here and were never disappointed. when they ask themselves if they should go, stop, just go and have a great time.

Perfect venue for our annual family pre-Christmas, post-walk lunch. Accommodated 10 people and three dogs, with great food, both from the Christmas menu and Sunday specials and the service was also excellent. Would highly recommend. View menu

From the phone call to book, to the request for the bill cannot fault a thing. A dog friendly pub that has a good choice of quality food served by efficient friendly welcoming staff with a good choice of wine. Not our first visit will certainly not be our last. A great place to have good value food served by welcoming staff.

yesterday went to the family dinner and very impressed! extensive menu with three delicious sounding vegetarian main course options, was also said that all without milk could be made so suitable for vegan! we had the curry that was beautiful. the staff that looked at us was all very friendly and friendly and especially great with my two-year-old daughter who was very well looked after. children have the opportunity to have half of the main menu, as well as all the usual child classics and colour and stickers were also available. overall highly recommended and we hope to visit again soon
