Lovely Christmas afternoon tea with my daughter as a Christmas gift. Very enjoyable with a choir singing carols which made the evening perfect.

Very disappointed with the Sunday lunch. It would appear that the roast meats are bought in ready sliced , the beef was like eating cardboard . Won't be back in a hurry ! View menu

I had poached eggs,and either the eggs were off or not cooked properly as I was violently sick and had diaherea,For the rest of the day and overnight, I certainly will never be back

I recently had the best Sunday dinner in a long time at this restaurant. The lamb was cooked perfectly, the vegetables were beautiful, and the Yorkshire puddings were extra large. I would highly recommend this place.

I visited with my mam,sister niece belated birthday celebration for my mam me) we ordered fish chips afternoon tea, to be told that you normally have too book afternoon tea, but the lovely waitress went to ask if they could honour our order, came back and said it was ok! It came, it was delicious! Very nice decor and very nice and friendly staff! Well worth a visit!

Sunday lunch is brilliant, plenty meat lovely veg can't fault it, polite patient staff, only niggle is the treacle pud, its not a sponge as such it's a muffin served with ice cream (you can request custard) it's not remotely treacleish, quite hard (had it been in the microwave ? too long if so) just a warning you won't get granny's treacle sponge so don't expect it you will be sorely disappointed.

2nd visit for Sunday lunch and we were not disappointed. Starters were soup, haggis bon bons and vegetarian starter, mains were pork, sharing platter and chicken burger. All the food was piping hot and everyone enjoyed their meals. Lots of veg with the mains, carrots, parsnips, cabbage, mash, roast potatoes. All were lovely. Everyone in our party of 5 and baby enjoyed their meals. Lovely yorkshire puddings too. Service was prompt and really good. Well done lovely meal, we will be back. View menu
