"Unfortunately for our group of 7 with a pre booked table, we booked due to reviewing the menu online. The experience was not as we had hoped due to the following: No table service until food was ordered at the bar, food was not as described as online (which we found out from the Manager was outdated even though he confirmed it had it bought to his attention previously) Missing items such as cauliflower cheese, red cabbage and no Turkey which was taken off in Jan and the website not updated. We ended up adding additional potatoes and cauliflower cheese to our table, some of which came once we had finished eating. Hair was found in 3 dishes and one of our group could not continue eating. What I will say is the food we did eat was good quality and the waitress lovely. She did however looked to be run off her feet and we were informed it was her second week. The Manager approached after a request from us who arrived with a beer in hand. He did listen to our concerns and kindly offered 50% off but unfortunately overall it wasn’t the best experience"

Fantastic meal, absolutely delicious and good value for what you get...which is a very hearty and filling meal! Staff really attentive and friendly. Both your Facebook page and website say that you are open from 5.30 today, therefore we planned our evening around a walk (1 mile) to your pub for a few drinks, however we were extremely disappointed and annoyed to find you closed. How hard is it really to put a note on your website or Facebook page? We had a 1 year old with us and trying to keep him in his trike for the return journey was extremely difficult without having a drink or run around at your pub. I am not impressed! Please think about your customers.
