"The members of staff at The Stag inn are lovely- very welcoming, polite and attentive. We were however disappointed with the menu choices with only 4 x main course options available. We appreciate this can be seen as a positive but we had expected more innovative dishes rather than the standard Burger or Fish and chips! Also the website was not up to date with the current menu and had it been so, it is likely we would have eaten elsewhere sadly. On a positive note the food quality was good so we would be happy to re visit should the menu improve"

First time there out in the sticks but found it OK. Good service good food nice staff had a party there was a bit noisy but OK. But need to sort there doors they really slam. Easy parking. Would visit again if we was in the area.

We had a marvelous evening in this little village pub. In the bar to start then to table for some mm mm making food. Gill's attention to our comfort was impeccable and all the staff were lovely. The food! Yes. More please. From saffron soup to lamb chops. Hake to Paris-Best. Everything was balanced, fresh, seasonal and yum!
