"We stopped by for lunch today, taking advantage of a rare break in the rain. The lunch menu was incredibly extensive, with something to cater to everyone's tastes. In addition to the regular menu, there were also daily specials available. We received a warm welcome and enjoyed a cold beer. Our food arrived promptly and there was plenty of seating options available. We chose to sit at the front of the restaurant, which was pleasantly quiet despite the nearby road. We were also pleased to see that there was a menu specifically for dogs, which was a hit with our furry companion."

It was the hottest and busiest of days, but Linzi and the team were fantastic, smiling and supplying me with delicious ale! Highly recommend

Great overnight stay in motorhome, with easy access to Whernside and Ribblehead Viaduct. Staff really friendly, great walkers pub with open fires. Food big on quality and quantity. Visit well recommended.

An absolutely cracking location, and free parking! The room wasn’t big enough to swing a cat, but it was clean. We had to leave the bathroom door open when we had a shower because it set off the fire alarms (much to everyone’s amusement… Food was fantastic like, really good. Made up for the dodgy shower ha

Doesn't look very inviting from the outside with some tables on the very fast main road. However, don't let it put you off as there's lots of room inside and a great garden out back. Very varied menu, good beer, friendly staff and great service. Very dog friendly and a welcome stop after walking to see the viaduct. View menu

Our breakfast before heading out on our journey was disappointingly average for the UK. The service was extremely slow due to only having one staff member working. We even paid extra for a pack lunch that cost £7.50, but the contents were only worth about £1.50. Overall, it felt like a complete rip-off once again in the UK.

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Station after a lovely train ride and walk around the impressive viaduct. Although they were out of our first choice, our second option was just as satisfying. The food was delicious, beautifully plated, and served in generous portions. The staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was cozy, complete with a roaring fire in the fireplace.

Drove here for lunch with the dog. Pub is in a beautiful setting with views from the back towards the viaduct. There is plenty of parking either in the car park or just down the road. The pub is dog friendly but we sat in the shade in the beer garden for lunch. Food was of a high standard, obviously cooked to order and homemade, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stop for a refuel. View menu

Food didn’t disappoint however there was no Sunday lunch available which what the group wanted. However the staff were rude and made threats to throw us out as one of the group accidentally vaped which they apologised for immediately but the member of staff was just rude ! The standards of the ladies toilets where disgusting as the had sanitary bins with bags over them so you could see the contents of them ie used lady products and solid nappies on show! The standards have slipped since last September

Great food. Ham, egg and chips excellent as was the steak and ale pie on my second night. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. The meals were pre booked, 23 of us sat down for our food, came out very quickly, hot and generous portions. Staff efficient and quick, especially Millie who was calm, confident and still smiling when dealing with the various requests/changes that had been made. Good breakfast on the Sunday morning. 6 stayed in one bunkhouse, small, modern, toilet and shower. Shower nice and hot even being the last one in the queue to use it.
