"I recently booked in Casa Nostra for my 40th birthday party. It was a large booking and the team were incredibly helpful in making the booking and even allowing us to add a couple of extra places at the last moment. As we were a large party we sent our menu choices in advance. On the day it all worked with military precision. My husband and I are regular visitors which is why I chose Casa Nostra for my birthday party. All of our friends said how much they enjoyed their time and said how great the food was. A highly recommended restaurant for big and small parties with absolutely amazing service from very helpful staff"

"I visited this restaurant for the first time with my family for my Birthday. I love Mexican food as it is my favourite cusine and have heard a lot of very good reviews about this place from friends and family. I was extremely pleased. The food was top notch and PROPER Authentic Mexican flavours. The service was even better. We were served by the actual owner of the restaurant who was on his own as all his staff were off due to the weather ! He did not go a second without a friendly and welcoming smile on his face and seemed genuinely happy to be serving everyone. The service was also very quick regardless of the situation. I will definitely be visiting again and again! Customer service for me is very important and I must say, this was one of the best I've received. I would recommend all to visit this restaurant."

"Lovely interior, although if you struggle with stairs you should request a ground floor table. Slightly aggressive air con, but the staff did adjust it for us. Fabulous selection of fish and sea food, steaks, and one or two vegetarian options. I couldn't see anything vegan. Food was tasty and clearly prepared with love. I had a risotto that was nice and creamy. Service was good but occasionally slow. It was pretty popular for a mid week evening, so booking is advised. Vegetarian options: A couple of choices of both starters and mains. "I visited my daughter and son-in-law last week and on my request they had booked a table for us on black horse on Saturday night at 1 o'clock. we arrived shortly before the pm and all four of us stood in the bar where two were served. it wasn't busy. no one told us anything until the bar was clear and then one of the ladies looked at me and I said we booked a table in my name of my daughter and she saw the bookings and said oh yes, we had table assigned and pointed into another room. there was no greeting no smiling, so we met our way to the table and sat there. there were no menus on the table, so I stood up to find some and someone only made their way from the other room in the direction of our table. we ordered drinks that were in themselves a task, as they had no free or dietary limmonade, so I had to go to the end for a gin with slimline tonic. then we ordered four different meal times. I ordered a vegetarian curry in naanbrot and when it finally came, I was so disappointed because the naanbrot was burned and the curry was cold on the outside, so I asked them to take it back. the waitress asked if I wanted to order something else and I went back. my daughter then shared some of her meals with me, who were chicken pupils. they were coated in a teig that was extremely fat. the menu does not seem to come out of any meal with fresh vegetables, everything seemed to come with chips and draughts, even the Steak-Mahl came only with chips and draughts, no mushrooms, tomatoes, wobble rings or something. I wasn't impressed. for a pub that wants good reviews, I think they have lost the property. the customer service is everything and fresh vegetables is essential. I'm sorry to be the bearer worse, but we won't come back."
