"My mum and I went into the Sundial cafe for lunch today. I had the 'Ham, Swiss cheese and apple ' grilled sandwich (without the apple and she had the 'Mushroom Melt ' grilled sandwich. Both came with a side salad, coleslaw and crisps. My mum had actually visited the cafe the day before aswell with my Stepdad and ordered the same thing : I had a cinnamon latte, then a caramel latte and my mum had a cappuccino then a regular latter. We finished the meal off with her having a blueberry danish pastry and me a chocolate brownie. No complaints at all the food was lovely and the ingredients were obviously fresh and high quality. The coleslaw was homemade and very tasty. My mum thoroughly enjoyed her pastry and the brownie was one of the best I have ever had. It is a lovely, quaint cafe with a nice atmosphere. The spiral staircase is a lovely feature in the upstairs section which is where we were sitting. I was facing the window and could see the sea which was very relaxing. The waitresses were nice and friendly, and everything was served quickly. Will look forward to visiting again!"

As a village resident I feel very lucky to have this wee gem on my doorstep. The menu is simple but full of flavour and the coffee is excellent. Definitely the best cafe in the village.

Lovely accidental find. Very small and quirky downstairs but I believe upstairs is bigger. We both had a Rheubens sandwich and it was delicious. Next time we are out that way I’m taking my husband for lunch.

Just back from the Sundial after another lovely lunch. Have been many times over the years and have never been disappointed. Have read other reviews saying it’s too expensive which it’s not. Prices everywhere have gone up everyone knows that. I know how hard they all work and how hard it is too make a living so if we want these great little places to survive please keep supporting them. what a jewel of a jelly. we had breakfast here and it was delicious, good quality and very well cooked. the personal was friendly and chatting. it's a great sound and if you're in the opposite, here at breakfast, lunch or just a coffee. the parking space on the road was difficult, but there is a parking space less than meters away. then they can go along the coast to work from this breakfast.

The restaurant is located in a stunning historic building with a spiral cast iron staircase and three wood-burning fireplaces. The menu offers delicious sourdough sandwiches with excellent vegan choices. I tried the coronation chickpea sandwich and my partner had the mushroom melt. They also offer alternative milk at no additional cost, along with a variety of sweet treats. Overall, it's a beautiful cafe with a cozy atmosphere.
