"We visited for a Sunday roast after a long walk, and the meal was delightful. Unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. We had to wait over 15 minutes just to ask if we could place our drink order, despite the waitstaff clearly noticing that we were waiting. After finishing our meal, I requested the bill, but it never arrived. After another 15-minute wait, I had to go to the bar to pay. They really need to enhance their table service, which is disappointing given how good the food was."

What a great pub, like pubs used to be. Friendly locals, lovely staff, delicious food and all reasonably priced. It's set in a beautiful village too.

One of the best pub lunches we've had in a long time! The chili served with crispy potato skins was simply delicious, and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend stopping here if you find yourself in the area.

Ate here on Saturday night had the steak and ale pie which was homemade and was delicious, my girlfriend had the half chicken and chips which was also delicious. Staff were very good as was the service would recommend this place to anyone.

The food is excellent, and the restaurant is family- and dog-friendly, surrounded by beautiful walking trails. The staff are attentive and ensure you are well taken care of. There's a wide selection on the menu, including a special items card.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The price range is quite reasonable, falling between £10 and £20 per person. The food was absolutely top-notch, earning a perfect score of 5. The service was equally impressive, also deserving a 5. To top it all off, the atmosphere was delightful, making for a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommended!
