"A really friendly welcome to me and my dogs. The new owners are so lovely and have sympathetically updated and brought the pub up to a very high standard, even put underfloor heating in the conservatory. My dogs and I felt very relaxed. They enjoyed their pork scratchings and I had the British full English, yes the Sausages past the taste test! There is an extensive menu. Including a pizza one, eat in or take away and a gluten free menu. A great place for dog walkers, cyclists, hikers to start/finish from. I highly recommend a visit."

Lovely place! Friendly landlady and very welcoming. Menu was vegetarian friendly which is rare in the pubs. Dogs were not only welcome and very much fussed over! Always winner in my books. Cannot wait to come back!

On a wet cold Tuesday in November after a country walk we went into The Three Tuns, enjoyed hot food, beer and tea by a log fire and found that it was a very bright, smart, clean and friendly pub. Thanks for great service today. As for the menu, it was ample, we enjoyed sausage and onion baguette with chips, and a sweet and sour chicken. Price per person: £10–20
