"I had to wait two weeks to secure a reservation for Sunday lunch on the 24th of June at this lovely venue with friendly staff. I was disappointed to find that they only offered Pork, Chicken, and Beef for the roast options, as I was hoping for Lamb. I chose the Beef roast, which was served warm but bordering on cold in some spots, giving the impression that it had been sitting out for a while. My boyfriend's Chicken roast was satisfactory, although my roast potatoes tasted like they were leftover from the night before, tough and not fresh. The gravy was also lacking, and perhaps they should consider offering extra on the side for those who like to pour their own. The vegetables were too hard for my liking, so my boyfriend ended up eating them. If I were to visit again, it would likely be for drinks rather than the food."

The restaurant was fantastic for a casual dinner, with very helpful staff. However, they did not have a record of the reservation we made through OpenTable.

Reserved a table but Bar Staff weren't 100% sure which table was ours. After ordering, our main meal was bought other first and our hors deuvrès forgotten about entirely (even though ordered and paid for). These were then bought after the main meal with no offer to return our main meals to the kitchen to keep them warm whilst we finished our main meal. Food was tasty but overpriced. All in all, adequate, but not one to recommend. View menu

The building is very beautiful and there is a good ambience. However, the food is really poor. I had a risotto which was supposed to come with a green salad it had one leaf on it and was really not tasty at all. The service was poor I had to help myself to menus and they didn't tell us table service had ended towards the end of the night so left us. It was confusing. Recommend the place for drinks but not for food and definitely not for a special occasion.

The restaurant is charming, but their service is lacking since customers must go to the bar to order. The bartender mainly runs the restaurant, along with one or two waitstaff who seem overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the food was terrible - the steak was tough, cold, and drowned in a thick, greasy sauce. Everything was of poor quality, poorly prepared and served with little attention to detail, and extremely overpriced. Even the person who took our payment acknowledged our disappointment. In conclusion, this is not the place to go for a satisfying meal. Period.
