"I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The owner's manner was strange, the vibes were off, and the veggie roast was not good. On the positive side, the restaurant is located in a beautiful spot next to the Malvern Hills, with lovely views and a cozy, rustic interior. However, there were issues from the beginning when we arrived with our dog and were told that half of the pub was off-limits to us. Despite this, we were eventually seated in the dog-friendly area. The service was confusing, with limited drink options and unclear closing times. The food arrived quickly, but the vegetarian roast was lacking in flavor and undercooked. The owner's odd behavior towards our dog made the experience uncomfortable. Despite the friendly younger staff, I left feeling unlikely to return."

Really lovely Sunday roast. Excellently cooked (rare) roast beef at amazing value. Wonderful friendly atmosphere. Nice country vibe with a few locals and dogs present.

My husband and I had a delicious lunch at the Wellington Inn today, chalk stream trout and pie of the day, sticky toffee pudding and coffee panacotta. Lovely welcome and strangers chatted to us!

What a great pub. Perfect cosy atmosphere a pub how pubs should be. Brilliant beer and 1st class food pub classics as well as some more imaginative food all well prepared. Wood fire was lovely and dogs made to feel welcome. Extra marks for the ladies’ loo being warm (they often aren’t! Highly recommended.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, located in a beautiful spot next to the Malvern Hills. The atmosphere was cozy, with lovely views and a small beer garden. However, the experience was tainted by the strange behavior of the owner. Despite the dog-friendly reputation, we were initially greeted with hostility because of our small dog. The service was abrupt and confusing, with limited drink options and rushed service. The veggie roast we ordered was disappointing, with undercooked butternut squash and sparse stuffing. The owner's odd interactions with our dog made us uncomfortable. Overall, I left a tip for the friendly staff but do not plan on returning due to the owner's behavior.
