The food and the service provided was really good. We had a party of 9 people and there were no delays. Thanks very much, it was a lovely evening.

Great family and dog friendly pub. All the staff were very welcoming the food was amazing there was 8 of us the service wasn't the quickest it was very slow but the food made up for it.

We opted for the Christmas menu and were warmly welcomed. The main course featured delicious turkey, followed by Christmas pudding for dessert. Additionally, we received a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for booking in advance. The quality of the food and the service were exceptional. Overall, a flawless experience!

The food was “disappointing”, if there had been one issue I would not leave the review but … waited 35 minutes for Sunday roast to arrive. Warm but not hot. The pork belly skin was “chewy” definitely not crackling. The roast beef was full of sinew, low quality cut that really should have been cooked in a slow cooker. The cauliflower cheese was 75% stalk and really I should have sent it back. See my photos, judge for yourself.

The Food was not bad, but the toilets were dangerous. The floors were swimming in water, they had just been cleaned, and water was standing up to 5 millimeters deep, with no warning signs. This was in both the male and female WCs. If you continue like this someone will fall and you will have a claim against you. The service was also a little on the slow side. This is a shame, as I have many good memories of the White Horse Inn.

In our opinion, the White Horse is the best pub in Norfolk. They have fantastic beers and homemade rums and gins, along with delicious food. We love this pub so much that we have booked our wedding family meal here in May. Even though we live in Horning, we always make the trip to the White Horse. When we are out on our boat, we stay the night at Gays Staithe and enjoy a nice 5 minute walk down to the pub on a lovely summer evening. We can't recommend it highly enough.

We can unreservedly recommend this place. On a Monday lunchtime, on our last day on a break in Norfolk, our two planned hostelries failed to deliver. On our way back to North Walsham, hungry and getting late and puppy in tow, we found The White Horse on Google Maps. And how lucky we were. Everything about this place was great: staff welcome and service, prompt, delicious and well-priced food, facilities and surroundings. Thank you to all staff concerned, and when we are next in the area we shall plan a day around eating with you!
