"Pros : Calm and serene setting, good food, brilliant service Cons : The charm of this place is on the outside and it gets difficult to enjoy this if the rain gods are in a bad mood !!! I would recommend this place for people looking for some peace, sun and some good food and spirits to keep the spirits up !! The charm of this place is its setting and its a pity you can enjoy this setting mostly in the summers. This place is serene calm and peaceful the only two sounds you can hear is a lot of grumbling from ur tummy until the food arrives to your table or may be a burrrp of satisfaction after your meal. This place is right next to the Thames river and they have a deck overlooking the river and also some place inside just across the road, so when the weather gets bad you can always retreat to the warm comforts and enjoy your food and drink, However if the sun is shining there is no place better than the deck to enjoy a quiet and relaxed evening. We were here for lunch and ordered mostly burgers and humus pita bread. The beef burger seems to be the pretty obvious choice here looking at the enthusiasm with which my friends went for it. I had the chicken burger and it tasted very well the patty was crisp and juicy and hot just like you want a burger to be, the buns were pretty good as well. I also tried the humus pita bread with kebabs and it tasted amazingly well, i loved the way it was cooked. We had blueberry juice to drink which was tasty and refreshing. Drool factor ? Just the setting and the food is drool worthy. would love to have the hummus and the kebabs here. Hole in the pocket ? Not a big hole its priced pretty decently."

Went here for a pub lunch over the jubilee bank holiday and honestly had some of the best fish and chips! The staff were very friendly and attentive. Great portions for a good price!

Great pub by the Riverside, alot of age and character. Good selection of beers on. They even have a cellar bar at the side of the pub to take the pressure off the bar on sunny days, great idea. I recommend all day long.

Great lunch at the White Swan. Sausages in honey and mustard, Scampi and wings with drinks. All at £30 per head, but had to wait 20 minutes to order as high tide marooned us in the garden. Excellent service and a great experience.

One of our favourite spots in Twickenham gets quite busy but perfect for a sunny summers day as the tide raises and falls around you (and the tide can come up to where your feet are on the deck). They have a love beer and wine selection with amazing Fish and Chips

a great place to see how the swans pass, as they go on a drink or three sip. far enough from the center twickenham not full of rugby fans on playing days, but close enough to be a cozy walk along the towpath. beautiful relaxing atmosphere, personal great and eating is also in order, although we only shared a few snack plates. they want to go back and try the roast. beautiful terrace on the stairs, but inside can be a bit dark.

Booked for dinner with friends. Limited menu but decent food. We had a table inside and the staff are really efficient and friendly. I recommend the fish and chips and Moroccan chicken. Toilets are in the basement. Good wine selection too. The pub is located right on the river and we had a lovely view. They have an outside terrace 1st floor and a riverside garden. It was really busy on a sunny Saturday so I would recommend booking.
