"Travesty. I’ve been to squats that have better food than this. I tried the bangers and mash and I felt like I’d rather be banged into mash. My girlfriend had the curry of the day and if that’s the curry of the day, I’d hate to see what the curry of the night is. Service was ok and good with little kids but had to pre order, via a phone call on the day only notifying me (I was working) a few hours before. Then some of the things on the menu weren’t available on arrival. Atrocious, mind bendingly despicable food and a terrible idea to go here. 45 minutes wait even after a pre order. Please avoid with all the fibres of your being, it’s really not worth it I promise"

We have walked to the three bears a few times on a Friday evening, it’s great that it’s dog friendly we’ve had just drinks and also food, lovely place and staff can’t do enough to help.

Went for Christmas drinks but there was no atmosphere not enough staff and bar person tried to say she had been given a ten pound not a twenty !!! Think it's a pub for mainly males as it definitely didn't feel like somewhere to go as a couple. Lots of dogs so good for dog lovers.

Absolutely disgusting customer service, was waiting 40 minutes for one dessert and we asked politely how long it would be and he called us rude, and when we said it wasn’t rude he said well we can agree to disagree. Just rude, shouldn’t be working there if you don’t know basic manners

Called in for a couppe of drinks and a bite to eat. Pub was relatively quiet. Went to bar to order a couple of burgers. Told because a party of seven were coming in the chef was too busy and couldnt accommodate us, he did offer us a couple of starters!!!!!! Very poor and unorganised, wont be back anytime soon.

Very comfortable and clean, lovely ambiance. The meal was really good and tasty along with a great apple pie desert. The service was excellent. I only gave 4 rather than 5 stars due to the poor coffee tasteless . It was just coloured milk, no taste of coffee. Such a shame as I always like to finish my meal with a tasty coffee.

Had the Sunday roast today. We had the beef and the lamb and both were superb. The vegetables were perfect, roast potatoes spot on and the Yorkshire puddings were so tasty, I usually don’t eat Yorkshire puddings but these were exceptional! Also ordered a side dish of cauliflower cheese which was quite big and also cooked perfectly. The staff as mentioned in previous comments were all lovely and helpful, so pleased we have good food back at the Teddies.

After being advised that the Three Bears don't offer a Carvery anymore after they had their refurbishment but they do serve a roast dinner, we decided to try it and we were not disappointed! With homemade yorkshires, great selection of veg, rosemary garlic roast potatoes, honey glazed parsnips carrots, good selection of meats vegetarian options with various extras including cauliflour cheese! Their gravy was one of the best I've tasted and I can promise, bisto wasn't at all recognised (not that there is anything wrong with it). The roast was that tasty and reasonably priced, we've decided to make it a monthly visit, inviting others to try. Highly recommend!

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."
