"Turned up without a booking to try and grab a bite to eat. However, as they were busy with a large table, we were initially told they would not be serving any walk-ins. We were content and ordered a drink anyway, but to our surprise the chef informed us that he would serve us food after all. This in itself was great service but then the great food on top was the icing on the cake. All in all a great experience and we fully recommend. Will be back soon. I had a delightful meal at a pub with a wonderful atmosphere. The price per person was quite reasonable, ranging from £10 to £20. I highly recommend trying the Steak and Kidney Pudding served with Mushy Peas.

Had several meals here nice homemade food but my chill this time had no tomato taste. Did swop my meal for lasagne which was lovely. Chef seemed grumpy I complained lol. But Will return. Overall good price and food
