"Had a lovely Sunday roast dinner with the food being very good. The pub was fairly busy I would have rated this 5 stars but we put off at the end as whilst we were eating our desserts, we were asked to vacate our table because another group of people had booked a table. This we felt was very unprofessional, rude totally unnecessary. A more better approach would have been to have quiet word after everybody had finished their meal to say to us that another booking was imminent would have been polite professional. It made all feeling disappointed when we left."

I recently visited after a long time, bringing along my son and three grandchildren. We received excellent service, and the food was delicious—plus, the ice was really great! This has become our new favorite spot.

I won at least five pounds here, but it was with it! the spinat ricotta cannelloni was delish! so were the sausages and maes of my man. my friend had the steak and ale cake and said it was great. I liked the friendly staff and there were many parking spaces on the back. there is also a terrace that looked kind of friendly, but it was a bit too cool to be outside. a great pub. two up!

We recently gathered our family at The Three Horseshoes, and we must say it had been a long time since we experienced such outstanding service and a delightful meal. There were twelve of us in the party, and the food arrived promptly from the starters to the desserts without a hitch. Unfortunately, we don’t live nearby; otherwise, we would visit this wonderful pub more often. A big thank you to all the staff for making our visit so enjoyable—we look forward to coming back!

"This pub has a beautiful summer garden and we enjoyed watching the variety of wild birds that flittered around. Whoever maintains the garden does so with pride and with knowledge of how to create a wonderful space. The same pride and knowledge is not represented...in our experience of the food. It took over an hour to receive a burnt fish chips and a fish burger that was a tiny bit of cheap fish cake. The fish cake tasted unsurprisingly dreadful, more potato than fish, a frozen bought in effort and was returned uneaten. After the hour's wait the kitchen was closed so no alternative was offered. The fish chips were supposed to come with creamed peas, but instead came with plain frozen peas. The claimed home made tartare sauce was out of a jar. The batter was dark brown and bitter and clearly over cooked to the point of being burnt. The chips were equally over cooked and dry. In our view the chips were frozen not fresh. The chef needs to take a leaf out of the gardeners book and take some pride at what leaves their workplace, as we left hungry and bitterly disappointed. That food should never have left the kitchen in the state it was and is hugely disrespectful to the customer. The service was friendly but slow. We weren't offered an apology nor were we asked how the fish chips were, despite them clearly being picked at and mostly left. The pub wasn't busy with perhaps 4/5 tables occupied by the time we left. This pub can clearly do better judging by the over positive reviews. It manifestly failed for us, on our first visit as locals."
